Yeah but the setup of that is not very fast. Especially if you dont use the RS2 for everything all the time so the camera lives on it. If you have 20-30min to setup alone for an interview including light and sound then a hand programable slider such as the Edelkrone v5 is a huge timesaver.
So I’ve had mine since November last year, it is great, but there are a few issues that I wish they would resolve. 1. The Android app had an update, and flat out stopped working altogether on my Samsung S21 Ultra, it would just say that the app had to close. It hadn’t worked for at least 5 months, I literally just checked, and it seems to work now, they may have been an update. 2. I really wish (like you said) that they would fix the issues regarding the lack of smoothing towards key frames. You can get some odd jerky moves when it goes between them. I’d love for it to have a smooth transition. 3. I wish it had the ability to start recording on your camera. I know there are time lapse release cables etc, but even with this apparently it doesnt trigger recording. This would be a great feature for effects work as you know that the clip length would be the exact same with repeated moves. 4. The app on iPad is just glitchy. I have an iPad Pro, and sometimes you just can’t see the full display, buttons will be cropped out with no real reason. I really took a gamble purchasing it, especially because I bought it from AliExpress on 11.11 day. If anyone wants one, I can recommend doing the same as I purchased mine for only £400. That was for everything. The slider, and 2x pan tilt heads + arm. Because of that, I really can’t complain too much, but I really just wish the app could have more features, and better stability.
Hi Daniel, could you do a video on sound? Like, do you use seperate recorders to capture the key sound, sync in post or, use the camera mounted for and environmental sound. Or only use a camera mounted mic for everything? Just like how do you capture all the different ways of sound. And what equipment do you recommend for different applications.
Hi I have just the pan head all I want to do is rotate at a speed and then stop the rotation. The only way I can do it is keeping my finger on the arrow in the circle but I want to just be able to do a start with a click and a finish with a click but I can't figure if it can be done. There is nothing online to show this
Zeapon used to have a smooth in and out points on its previous interface, that could do that smooth stop at every mark up point, but they "upgraded" it to a less functional interface, that totally disgraced that feature. I tried to contact Zeapon so I could get back to the older interface, but they just said "NO, YOU CAN´T". Zeapon´s customer care is disgusting.
That jitter is quite bad unfortunately. I was really excited for it, when I saw that first shot the jitter in the corner with the chair really distracted me :( The search continues for something reliable and accurate that doesn’t cost $5000
@@_MJ07_ you don't really have that issue with edelkrone sliders unless you are wildly out of balance. And I'm sure this dude balanced his camera well. So it's a bit troubling if it can't handle a c70.
I've had zero issue with it. His rig is a little over the top perhaps or it may depend on what he's doing. I've used 3 or 4 cameras on this and zero issue. I'm not sure what he's doing with his.
@@algoriithmtheproducer Agreed. I typed out a long ass reply a few days back, but it appears to have not posted. In short I use an A7II in a cage with a tamron 28-75 mostly, and have had 0 problems with shakiness. I don't balance it really, I just put it on and use it.
I just use my RS2 as the pan/tilt on my motorized slider and use the Raveneye
That's a great tip 🎥
smart! wanted to do the same thing

Great video man! I have wanted this zeapon Slider for years!
I'm still raising the money for it!
Thanks! i have this combo, but haven't had a chance to use it. Can't wait!

Wow that's so cheap. It came brand new and no issues whatsoever?
@@Mike0193Azul brand new, no problems what so ever. I believe the next sale is July 1st. Take a look them just incase.
Thank's for info👍👍

Don’t know who Daniel is but that’s a good idea for a video
@@damiencooper sorry Damien 🤦♂️🤣
@@waynosfotos i'm dead man but cool idea!
thx great Video! So you dont use any edelkrone or other slider?

THIS $500 ELDERKONE IS $3000

Expensive

looks jerky enough to not be acceptable for client work
I think it depends on your camera and balance. I use a Sony A7III and have no jerkiness.
