A number of Warriors players will flourish better with more pick and rolls - wiggs, jk, tjd. But stubbornly sticking with motion offense with bad three-point shooting makes them predictable and guardable.
I love Moody. But if you've been paying attention to the past few games, he has been injured so he hasn't played. Then, on top of that, he hasn't been shooting as well as we need him to. When you can't handle the ball and aren't well-suited for a read-and-react offense where you can make a 0.5s decision to either shoot, pass, or drive... It's harder to get playing time. Matchups have also been hard for him the past few games when he was healthy. He has the lowest +/- on the team right now.
I feel like they are still lacking as the contender. I wish they could still go after a 2nd star but who? Would Jimmy Butler fit the bill? They might have to gut the roster to do so.
Fit wise, yeah Butler would be nice, but salary wise, there's no way to get him without giving up Wiggins or Draymond in the deal. Replacing Wiggins for Jimmy would probably be the same production, point wise? And Jimmy spaces the floor even less than Wiggins, so there's that lol
Schroeder takes care of the shot-creator need, so there's less of a need for Butler, especially when you have to give up your best defenders to do it. Butler is awesome in the playoffs but the team won't even make the play-in if you don't have enough depth and defense to survive the regular season. Steph, Butler, and Draymond will miss a bunch of games at some point.
@@FDTFDTFDT yep, load managing Steph dray and jimmy would be real hard without depth pieces like Kuminga and Wiggins. Jimmy hasn't played 65 games since 2018... He's already at 18 played... So outta the last remaining games we have left( less than 60 games left), how many can we actually pencil him in for?
LeBron was a +/- 0 in another win to keep him at -129 on the season, the worst plus/minus on the Lakers team (Max Christie the only guy remotely close on -89). Also love how we paper over these absences (that almost no other player takes). Not suspect at all.
Steph & Dray both after the game vs the Mavs were basically begging for Kerr to run more pick and roll now that they have Schroeder. Which basically says that the players want to run more pick and roll but Kerr keeps forcing them to run his predictable motion offense. Especially to start games.
I don't understand the Warriors trading for Dennis. Dennis Schroder plays best when the ball is in his hands. The Warriors are taking it away from him and he will return to the player he was for the Lakers averaging just 12ppg.
The point is to have a shot creator with the bench players. The team is playing really well in the minutes that Steph is on the floor. They're one of the worst teams in the league without him because no one else can reliably create a shot. Schroder will probably have a lot of minutes without Steph, running the second unit.
He's a hell of a player.
Let Dennis cook and the team will feast
I like Schroder, but I am curious as to why he has been on so many teams and has not found a home yet. I hope he finds it in the Bay?

It’s incredible that you guys had slater as a first and no one asked him about Moses moody and wtf is going on with Kerr.
Kerr is waiting for your book on how to coach.

Dennis can be sassy ….. lol should be fun to see how this works ….
Can't wait to see Steph, Schroeder, Podz, GP2, and Draymond line up. Get it done Kerr you Bozo!
Lol, the last time he was on a playoff team, the Celtics traded him to the Rockets as salary filler for Daniel Theiss.
No, it was with the Lakers at the WCF in 2023.
Steve Kerr is going to ruin Schroder’s presence on GSW.
Free Slo-Mo. Fire Kerr.
Kawhi he should came back at 100% Percent if he can?
You could at least spell his name right.

Kerr appears willing to let his pride ruin this team. They've been awful ever since Dray said Stotts was the offense on his podcast.
