Love your channel! I am trying to find out how to get temperatures from past dates. Can you tell me how you got yours. I know you talked about it but I am hearing challenged!
Thank you! I got mine from the Climate data online database. That worked best for me for the really far back dates. I know that some people use other resources if they are doing one within the past couple years only - like Weather Underground
I love the combination of satin stitch and cross stitch you did! I am wondering if satin stitch uses up a lot more floss than cross stitch since you are using 4 strands and it’s quite a big surface to cover? I’ve never used satin stitches so I have no idea 😅
If you ever need more test stitchers I would love to help you out! I live in Germany though, so sending the finished piece to you would probably be difficult…
That’s a great question, I haven’t compared head to head so I really am not quite sure. Conceptually I feel like it probably isn’t too different since it does use up a good amount of floss to go diagonal both ways across a square whereas it is much less for a satin stitch to travel vertically over the square once. But it would be fun to compare! And thank you so much for the offer - I will be sure to reach out if I need more hands!
