- Today's the day I say goodbye to St. Lucia and I couldn't resist sharing all the fun I squeezed in on my departure day. Whether you're chilling in St. Lucia with a late flight or dreaming of future adventures, these activities are absolute gems! First up, I started my morning with a swim in the crystal clear water followed by taste of Lucian Chinese cuisine. After that, I headed to the craft market to add another flag magnet to my collection-I get one from every country I visit. I made my way to the airport, soaking in every moment of the journey, including a stop in Dennery to catch locals prepping mahi-mahi. Don't miss the breathtaking view from Mandele Point showcasing the beauty of the Dennery District. Next, I discovered the stunning Latille Waterfall-a total hidden gem you can't miss. And before boarding my flight back to NY, I had some mouthwatering local Lucian food at The Reef Beach Cafe on Sandy Beach.
