If they don’t like it then they can go somewhere else. And YES, they will perform this dance on stage while they perform this. I have three kids and they all love K-pop. My middle daughter and I already got our tickets to the Chicago concert on the 10th of November. Cant wait to see them perform this live! 😭

1:39 - Jisoo is the voice you were asking about. Also, even though Teddy Park writes their lyrics, the girls do have input on those lyrics, and he knows them so well from working with them since before their debut in 2016. I think they were trainees for 3 to 5 years. I can't remember exactly. But he definitely knows these girls well, and they have written some of their own lyrics as well. I know Jisoo and Rose have writing credits on at least one song on this album. The Dance Performance videos are their routines for the stage. every time they release new music, they perform it live on music shows in South Korea. You can probably look up the performances on TH-cam. My daughter introduced me to Blackpink in 2020, and I was hooked on their music. It was something different, and it represented strong women in a positive way, not in an in your face sexual way, like you see here in America. More like a sexy confidence and female swag, which is awesome. I think Lisa and Jennie are the ones that got me to like rap. Then when I discovered BTS I found I resonated more with their lyricism and their message, and the rap line in BTS got me to love Hip Hop. I still follow Blackpink, and I love their music, but I'm a serious BTS fan (ARMY). RM, SUGA, and J-Hope write amazing lyrics. And so does the vocal line. They are all very skilled. If there was one thing I wished for Blackpink, is for YG to let them write more of their own music. I know that all the girls can write lyrics. I think Rose has the most experience since she had a solo project with her own lyrics on two songs. And Jennie wrote her solo song as well. I do love Teddy's production and writing, but it's his writing, I would love to hear more of what the girls want to say. Anyway, that's all.
The company also hired several songwriters from other companies.
As far as I know in the South Korean music industry and some other countries, always put the singer/group first.
The company has no desire or interest whatsoever to name anyone behind the BlackPink scene other than BlackPink.

The women with the unique voice is Jisoo the oldest at 27 one of the most recognisable vocals in K-pop along with Jesse. you could make out either of them in a room full of singers no problem.
They do write a limited amount of their own stuff their company is renowned for not letting their female artists write but the rappers often change the language or modify the raps to suit their flows and they are very close with their main producer Teddy Park treating him like an older brother even seeing him for personal advice as they don't have a leader in the group.
You're wrong. Bigbang ,ikon Akmu, CL, Winner all wrote their own songs. And YGE is the first company letting group wrote their own song if they want to. Learn the history.
@@razw8200 Female groups remember 2ne1 See if CL has anything nice to say about YG if it wasn't for Teddy in her corner there's no way she would've got anything of her own released there's heaps of unreleased stuff sitting on hard drives courtesy of YG. I'd love to see them resign with better contracts with more creative control and recognition.

Teddy Park is the main producer and when Billboard announced top 50 producers of century list last year his name was included. And in the list only 2 korean producer.

Teddy is their main producer. Though the girls do contribute to the lyrics and they do write also. Credits are given to writers of their song though sometimes we find out later the girls also do take process in writing. “As if it was your Last” is one example of Lisa writing her verse but credit was not given. it was revealed in a Thai interview months later. “So Hot” cover verses written by Lisa and Jennie. Rosé is credited for her solo work. Jennie rewrote her verse for “Solo” remix. Jennie Jisoo for “Lovesick Girls” and Rosé and Jisoo for this album “Yea Yea Yea”. anyone who says they dont write is just a false rumor spreaded from jealousy and envy trolling the comment section. Same suspects in every reactor new to Blackpink.

Snaps for giving credit for the skill in the performance of the lines. The script is not usually written by the actor but we applaud the actor for the execution right? It's not as if it's not their own voices which has been done before. The are producers tweeking tracks so the efforts are the artists shouldn't be praised? If anyone commented you praised b/c they are pretty or sodt on them I didn't see that at all. Of course you aren't blind but you educated on what about the line for the writer and delivery for the performer was good. Thanks for taking the time to explain. Enjoyed the reaction. yeah, that's how they'll perform the song live, also they have choreos for most of their songs so... doing that for 2 hours of concert? mad impressive to me. Also, actually Teddy gets lots of shout outs because everybody that knows blackpink knows he's their 'fifth member', he had a big hand even in choosing the final members, the group started basically as his project, probably people commenting that are just people that don't want the girls to be praised. And i really don't understand them because lots of great artists in history didn't write their music even rappers use ghost writers sometimes, they still have to put in the work to execute the song and make it great and these girls all trained betweeen 5 and 7 years everyday to get to where they are so I definitely think they deserve praise for it. You can even tell they worked a lot on improving their vocal and rapping skills after they debuted, if you listen to their earlier stuff and compare you notice it right away. Plus honestly, jennie and lisa have often written their verses without getting credited for it, their agency has a history of doing this with their female artists, but anyways...

IDK if anyone has told you this already, but you should check out the documentary of them on Netflix. It shows a fair bit of the producing process. I watched it before I was a fan and thought it was super well made and interesting.
Often Blackpinks lyrics and songs are wrote by the same group of producers. Not just Teddy. This one in particular was wrote by. Teddy. Vince and Danny Chung. And produced by 24. They have other common writers and producers like RTee, Bekuh Boom and Kush (who is blacklable co owner alongside Teddy) ✌️ they also work with others too. Teddys crew (the blacklable) are my favourite Kpop producers hands down 🔥

@@alisong5011 , They choreographed themselves for five years, wrote rap and vocals while training at YG. But YG does not allow them to write songs fully. For example, several songs on which Jenny and Rose worked were not even included in the album, and Rose wrote two of her solos. In BORN PINK, they are listed as creative directors in the credits.

The girls are involved and write. Yg artists are always encourages to produce and get involved in their works. Sometimes yg has a very wonky o strict criteria on giving credits so its not so black and white.
