    This video solved my issue. EUFY 11 Model. Runs for 87 seconds and then generates 4 beeps. If you hit the "Play" button on the remote, it will run for another 87 seconds and then halt with a 4 beep alert. This is just the video I needed. Your complete disassembly is so clear and easy to follow. Thank you. I took the transmission a part as you show, the motor was so tight that it took me a few tries to get it to turn with my bare fingers. I blew the motor out; sprayed it with a quick shot of brake cleaner; sprayed it with Electronics Cleaner; and put a couple of drops of 3in1 Oil on each end of the shaft. After spinning the motor by hand for a few minutes, it would actually continue to rotate by the momentum of me spinning it with my fingers. I put everything back together and it runs like new!!! It now runs 90 minutes with no alerts. Thank You! subscribed!

      With this video and this comment I was able to free up the motor. Just did a couple tests and it's spinning fine. Going to put it all back together now and see what happens. Thanks guys!

    This worked great for my 15C Max, thank you! For anyone else reading, the main difference is that the larger screws aren't sized differently and there are 8. Also, 2 additional small screws must be removed from the roller housing area to be able to pull the vacuum apart. Once again, thanks!

    My brush motor wasn't working. I got the unit apart before I found the video, but it was great to have positive reinforcement - thank you Al! The motor was a bit stiff to turn by hand and would not turn with 9v across it. BUT, while I was searching on line about a replacement, it got more and more free. Seemed plenty clean as did the transmission. I put 9v across it again and it spun fine! If it happens again I will spray some contact cleaner in and lube the shaft. Can't seem to find an exact replacement.

    Great video! I don't think I would have attempted taking it apart without your video. I have Deebot N79 for 18 months. Have a hairy dog. Use it to clean 3 rooms in-between weekly
    main vacuum cleanings. Really like it.
    Recently had the "Main Brush Malfunction" error, would run for 10 seconds then stop, sometimes brush would be turning during
    that time. Tried cleaning the main brush real good, took off end cap off of
    one side of brush and cleaned the bearing area like one video suggested. Still had error. Followed your instructions on how to take main brush motor out and check for debris. Did that. Found some debris at end of belt area, alot of debris under motor gear (I believe this is the root cause, hair related), had to use razor blade, plastic dental pick, and 20+ minutes to get the stuff out. Also plastic gear at other side of belt had a little debris under it. Fixed the problem! Thanks one more time ;)

    Al, thanks so much for this video! I had already contacted Eufy customer service and they basically told me that this RoboVac is a throw-away but they would 'graciously' give me a 15% discount toward the purchase of a new one. The tip from wojciech pointed me to my problem. The motor would not freely turn, There was an accumulation of debris between the little gear and motor housing that I removed with a straight pin (tedious process). After doing this and before reassembling the entire unit, I plugged in the battery and brush motor and activated the power switch. Only then did the motor turn. Afterwards I reassembled the entire unit. Thanks again for your efforts in making and posting this video! Larry

    Man, you are a lifesaver! I was having the four beeps problem and followed your video step by step. As with you, there was absolutely no debris on the motor, it was completely clean, so I was a bit disappointed. However, as you did, I also put the battery back and made the test, and I didn't get the 4 beeps anymore! Even with the motor super clean, could be that the belt was a bit stuck or something? No idea. Whatever it was, I am just super happy that just disassembling and assembling everything, has given some extra life to my Robovac.
    You sure got my like and my subscription. :)

    I have an ECOVACS Deebot N79. This fixed the issue I was having with mine. It would run for a few seconds, about ten or so, and then do the four repetitive beeps. After taking apart the motor I found a bit of hair and lint. Once I removed it and brushed all the surfaces for added measure, I pieces it back together and it’s working perfectly! Thanks for the instructional video!

    Thanks for the video, which took the guesswork out of disassembly. Since I'm used to working on electronics I was dreading a bunch of ribbon cables and fragile wires, but thankfully this wasn't the case with my robovac 11. I cleaned hair from the bearing housing which you cover in another video and also cleaned the main roller motor which had hair stuck between the black spindle and metal motor housing. I'm glad the vac gave me overcurrent shutdowns before any serious harm was done. By the way, I went one step further in your bearing cleaning video and removed the round brass piece which had all the stuff stuck underneath it. I couldn't clean anything by only removing the shaft itself. Thanks again!

    Thanks for the video. Mine kept stopping every few minutes with a "bumper stuck" error and would require a kick to the front to reset. I had thought I cleaned it very well inside but the problem persisted. Your video mentioned that the bumper switches sometimes get stuck when it's dirty so I opened up the compartment that contain the switches, lo & behold it was filled with gunk... did a full wipe down of that compartment and put a bit of WD-45 on the hinge of the switch and it is now running perfectly.
    As a note, I sent an email to Eufy regarding my problem and they refused to repair it as it is out of the warranty period. They did however offer a "repair" service for $80 + shipping and would send me a refurbished device WITHOUT wifi... Not quite sure how they planned on refurbishing my device and have it end up losing a key feature...

      @@MikeWehling Lol...from doing it over and over again. It is a slight pain keeping the top part in place while flipping the vac upside down to put the lower half of the bumper on. I've had a few times where the top wasn't on right which basically makes the bumper non-functional. I also had one where I didn't get the two halves of the main body together right that caused the bumper to not work as well. The beauty of video is you can edit out all the screw ups. :) Hope you got yours back together and running!

    Thanks for the great video! The Eufy 25C is so similar. I'm getting a very similar error to yours where it says "rolling brush is stuck" even after disconnecting the main rolling brush motor and side brush motors. For reference, mine does 10 beeps and the app says "rolling brush is stuck". 10 beeps seems to be a generic I stopped error as it does it for cliff sensor and everything.
    Separately, the main rolling brush motor probably also has issues because it can turn freely but it stalls on start and I have to push it with my finger to get it going (no torque and can stop easy with fingers). I can replace the motor but if it's a main board problem that errors anyway with the motor removed, doesn't seem like the next move. I measured with a multi-meter that the motor is being fed with 9v from the connector so that seems to work. The part number is "Standard Motor RP390-ST/20143/DV"

    • @MadLittleMods
      @MadLittleMods 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It turns out that the Eufy 25C does not work if any of the side or main brush motors are disconnected. I ordered a replacement main rolling brush motor and a new bearing because the old one felt a bit crusty. After replacing the parts, the vacuum is back is back in order rolling around! You can find a writeup of my process of debugging and fixing the problem by searching for "MadLittleMods GitHub Gists" and looking for the Eufy RoboVac 25c one.

      Well, you got a little bit ahead of me, lol. I'm actually working on a video to address the 30c and it's wheels. Basically, the flats in the gear that the axles attach to get stripped out and will give the clicking noise and sometimes makes no noise but just sits there and spins in circles especially on carpet. IT IS A ROYAL PAIN IN THE BUTT TO DISASSEMBLE. There is not a good repair solution either. I tried to repair with epoxy, but it didn't last long. Will try super glue (cyanoacrylate) next. Stay tuned!

I look forward to seeing the video to see if the 30c and the 11c are similar enough.

Mine is a Coredy 550+, which looks essentially the same, but the motor doesn't have fuses, at least on the outside. With a multimeter, the positive and negative leads do beep when touched. Can I run it without the motor? I figure it may still work a little or i can use the mop attachment which doesn't make use of the brush, to my knowledge. Coredy wouldn't honor the warranty. Thank you for reaching out and sorry you weren't able to get your vac running. Are you still getting faults? What I found on the eufy is that a main brush fault will trigger even when the corner brush motors are actually bad. You can touch a 9v battery to the motor leads to see if the motor actually is working (check both directions). Yes, you can run it without the motor, but it will be relying on vacuum only to pick up debris.

      Most likely yes. If you can, disconnect that motor's cable and see if it will run. I'm not sure why, but sometimes the side brushes will cause 4 beeps as well. Ugh, so it looks like the brush and vacuum motors are available, but not the drive wheel motor. I just looked at one and there is no number stamped anywhere on the one for the wheel. I'll have to figure out what an equivalent replacement is. Right now, it's looking like it's an RS-365 dc motor. I'll get some measurements and hopefully narrow it down. With that said, all of the motors I've taken apart and cleaned were successfully revived. Did you take your motor apart and clean between the commutators?

    • @AlsAutoandAppliance
      @AlsAutoandAppliance  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for commenting! Unfortunately, I have not gotten around to troubleshooting the board. I need to research a couple of the ICs and transistors to see if they have a built-in current monitor circuit or trace the drive circuit out and see where there might be a short. Eufy has not been helpful at all in providing any sort of service manual or schematic. I'll be getting to it soon, hopefully!

    • @AlsAutoandAppliance

      I finally got around to troubleshooting and found that a side brush motor was causing the fault. This is very odd due to the fact the side brushes are supposed to have their own beep fault code (two beeps with steady red power light). I will be posting a video on this soon as well as the fix. For now, try unplugging, one at a time, each brush motor (left side, right side, main brush) until the fault clears. That will tell you which one is causing the issue. More to follow soon!

    • @PatrickLanePlus
      @PatrickLanePlus 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awesome, thank you for continuing the troubleshooting! I actually tried replacing both side motors with new ones, but I still am getting the error. I’ll do some testing this week and see if I can clear the fault like you said by unplugging one at a time and testing.

    I cleaned out the motor And main brush and bearings and everything but I still get the four beeps and solid red light that indicates main brush error. Does this mean I need a new main brush motor?

    • @AlsAutoandAppliance
      @AlsAutoandAppliance  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Four beeps can also be caused by a faulty corner brush. The corner brushes have their own beep, but if they are beginning to fail, it will cause the 4 beeps. If you open your vacuum, try to unplug the corner brushes one at a time to test if the fault goes away.

      Sorry to hear you are still having issues. It sounds like your battery could be at the end of its useful life. Could also be a loose connection. Remove the battery cover and unplug battery then plug it back in and see if that helps. As for the beeping still being there, the same fault can happen with the side brushes, even though they are supposed to have their own beep fault. Try to open eufy and unplug each side motor and the main brush motor. If the fault goes away, you know it's one of the 3. Plug back in one at a time until the fault returns and that will be your bad one. Hope this helps, and good luck!

    • @AlsAutoandAppliance

      Yes, it's pretty easy actually! If you have a piece of cardboard, you can simulate a floor by holding it over the bottom of your vac (over the three drop sensors) at about wheel height. The motors themselves are pretty quiet and the main noise maker is the vacuum its self. Let us know what you find, and good luck!

    Yeah, the problem I'm having is this (Robovac 11). It doesn't work by itself. When I directly connect it to the charger, then it turns blue, then red and then 4 beeps. I checked if it is charging, and on multimeter, it is kind of weird, I get maybe 14V when it starts beeping, but then voltage drops gradually fast to 0V, so it is not charging the battery. Battery voltage is only 3V. Not sure, maybe it is the board.

    HEllo, I have this exact model - I'm having some problems trouble shooting it. I've made videos of my problems, would you be willing to take a look at it?
    Ill try to describe what Ive done to trouble shoot it.
    I was constantly getting the 4 beeps error
    DEEP CLEANED everything first. Completely took apart the entire machine
    When I pulled out the POWER of the main motor from the main board, Eufy runs fine.
    As soon as I plug it back in, turn it on, 4 beeps error.
    So I thought it was the DC motor.
    1. I found a replacement for cheap. I removed the micro board (with the 2 fuses) and transferred it to the new motor.
    2. Plugged it in and STILL the 4 beep error
    So I thought it may have been the motor again.
    3. I removed the small micro board and plugged only that in. No motor attached. Turns on, No error.
    4. I "hot-wired" the new motor directly to the terminals (no micro board in between). 4 beep error.
    5. I hot-wired the OLD motor directly with the terminals. Still, 4 beep error.
    Im learning a lot along the way, but boy oh boy is it frustrating.
    Thanks for your time. Please

      @AlsAutoandAppliance  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Looks like you did some great troubleshooting. Did you do this while the motor was installed into the transmission? Also, is the "new motor" used? If so, it is possible it's faulty as well. With the motor removed from the board, attach a 9V battery to the leads. The motor should run smooth and consistent speed and there should be no sparking from the motor brushes.
