I attended Cornell and had two friends who did the freshman year transfer option and were quite successful and happy there. However, Michigan is a GREAT school and I think you will be very happy there. I think you made a great decision! Congratulations and good luck!!!

A member of my family also got the transfer option a few years ago. He went to our state flagship school for one year and then was able to transfer to Cornell after making good grades at the state school. I imagine that part of the reason that Cornell offers the transfer option is to keep "lower" SAT or GPA scores out of their college ranking data. The transfer option students are good enough to do the work at Cornell, but Cornell wants SAT and GPA averages for incoming first-years to be as high as possible. I could be wrong about this, but having observed the college admission process for a number of years that is how it makes sense to me. My family member was glad that he transferred to Cornell and said he would do it again, but he also enjoyed the state school and would have been happy staying there, too.
I know this video is a bit old, but how did you get Google Sheets to open the web pages and autocomplete your login and password? Is there a specific format to the text string?
