Honestly, this may be the best and most impactful video I've ever seen. I've loved SOAD since I was a kid and I'd never heard Serj just speak before. He's so soft spoken and insightful. I've had quite and unusual and troubled childhood and struggle to find the confidence necessary within me to really define an identity for myself. Recently I've had some pretty life changing experiences and a huge boost in mental health, taking up drumming, rock climbing, making friends. The effect this video had on me was nothing short of awe, I felt like I was in the room with two close friends having a deep conversation at 4am, even though I wasn't a part of it. There's a lot of comments here but I hope you guys see this one and know the impact you've had on me.
Also, Josh is an INCREDIBLE interviewer and chef, the questions he asks and the way he uses the food to connect the segments together is out of this world. I never see any hollywood interviewers put up such interesting questions.

When I was around 6 or 7 in 2007 I moved halfway across the nation. I learned about SOAD when I was going through my dad’s cds and I immediately loved them. As I got older around 11 or 12 I learned that they broke up and I thought I would never see them live. I moved to California in 2018 and I was in Malibu and we’re leaving this ice cream shop and out of the corner of my eye I see Serj!!! I was ecstatic. I didn’t end up going up to him due to the fact he was with his family. I didn’t care I didn’t go up to him seeing him from afar was fine!! Then in 2020 I was gonna go see them live!!!! Then Covid happened and they don’t have any concerts lined up. I hope to see them soon!!!

Mr. Josh, you asked Serj about lightness making heavy things heavier, but the inverse is just as important and harder to find for the inexperienced. I love how they are chatting so much and just enjoying it that they seem to be forgetting about the food for a solid portion of the interview

This is by far the most moving, and in depth interview I’ve seen Josh do! Josh clearly grew up with Serj’s music the way I did. Amazing conversations

I love Serj. He's so easy to listen to, whether it be from his music to just the way he speaks. The words just flow around you like a soothing blanket.

Seeing the title with Serj Tankian on Last Meals. Never I have clicked so fast on a video. This man has such a beautiful and angelic singing voice. Elect the Dead is my favorite solo album.
