It has stamp of class. Future generations will scarcely believe if there is one singer such as him really existed. We are singularly lucky that we are able to listen to this masterpiece. Humane, brilliant, exquisite, and moving.
Nizamuddinkhanji was emersed in Pt. Mansur's gayaki and laykari so that his journey on tabla was completely in sinc with flow of singing. Wonderful "saath"
Initially MM learñt Karnataka Sangeeta only at elementary stage. I think, he was knowing . I am also from Dharwad. But he studied in depth of Gwalair Gharana then Jaipur Autroli Gharana.

Though I am from Dharwad, not heard his Gaayan, personally, but enjoying in You Tube.
The tabla playing, which I think is by Nizamuddin Khan, is also stupendous, especially during the taans in the dhrut bandish.
Sublime ❤❤❤. Amazing rendition
RIP Pandit Ji...We owe you a lot for all these gems you left for us.

Have heard a rare rendering of multani at NCPA Mumbai. This resembles it very much.
Sheer joy! Majestic.Classic.
Come to think of it, this is the recording of the NCPA concert. Was able to identify from the "daad" of his friened Shri. Nadkarni.
A great rendition by the master. Thanks for the upload.
Words of the bandish sound like- " arrey man kahe ko soch kare" in pensive mood.
The best Multani and the next Best is Pandit Prabhakar Karekar ji's Multani
Fantastic rendition
listened to this masterpiece about a dozen times... !!!
@Sumana Ramanan : Absolutely..... It takes you to another world.....
Can somebody provide lyrics of drut bandish?
Which is the Bandish used by Panditji in Vilambit Laya?
अरे मन क|हे को सोच करे|
सोच करे कुछ बन नही आवे
धीरज क्यों ना धरे|
Here hearing with Earphone is more subtle than actually hearing physically, because of public disturbance and out sole attention.
Very difficult Rendition, Divine Indra Sabha Gaayana. I feel as if in havean, Swarga , while hearing it.
I don't know, why he's sounding more like Carnatic than Hindustan.
Somebody throw some light on it, please.
The gamaka pradhana treatment most likely.
