The engine has operating temp when oil has 100 Celsius degrees, not when the water has 95. My Tiguan shows oil temp on the computer and it reaches 100 degrees much further then water has 95, ca. 10-15 minutes later.
Does this applies to the BiTdi with Tiptronic gearbox? I can't seem to find anything about launch control there, only for S-tronic it is written as a possibility in the Audi manual.
The Audi A6 in 2.0 Turbo form is not a Hooligan car. I have a 2018 Premium Plus with 19” rims and sport suspension. Car is a dream to drive. She is a big girl and loves 85-100mph cruising. Weather is getting nice in NJ and I get her washed at the most incredible car wash I have ever seen in Lawrenceville NJ.. Three times a week. And there are car nuts that say never use one of those commercial car wash joints with the brushes...😂 Anyway skip all that launch control nonsense. Buy a Corvette if you want a car to launch and HOON around in.

your 3.0 should've been around 300hp stock. i have a c7 a6 with some aftermarket work and even before i did anything to it, it was already fast. now, it's ridiculous!

Is it safe to try this with my 3.0 TDI BiTurbo with 380 hk? It also has a sports differential. Automatic gear with S box.
The S Tronic is a Dual Clutch Gearbox and doesn't have a Torque Converter! The Tiptronic has a Torque Converter!
That's in fact true, I was referring to a general concept to illustrate how acceleration can be better. Thanks for pointing this out.

I have to agree. I love my 3.0T but I realize it’s not a sports car but it’s plenty fast for me and I plan to enjoy it for a long time.

A Diesel will never rev at 3500 for the start. You probably have a Petrol car.
