Wouldn't making a rainbow team with 6+ psy G5 as a friend be the play? Since you get 5 super types off the bat. Helps solve the super issues almost entirely
What makes this gear change disappointing is that, we wanted gear change Luffy because it would of have been another fun way of playing but they made it so difficult and restrictive (as you mentioned, only advantage players can utilise this character to its full potential) If you compare the first gear change (G4) it was collect number of meat orbs and that reduces depending on gear change, you didn't have to think about other units in the crew. It was fun and unique way of playing optc aswell as managing your consumption meat orbs and useable of gear change.
Idk bro, when you run 2 Luffys you can activate Snakeman in the stage before Boss or even earlier so you do get the Para removal and can still transform into G5 at Boss stage. And even if you don't run double Luffy, there are plenty characters that can give you the three Supers, one as Friend Captain and one as Sub like Oiran Yamato for example.
Hear me out, what if his form changes act like Stussy's bleed removal did in the TM. We had no clue that even if she was bound, when she became unbound her CA still took over (we weren't expected that) and removed the bleed. So if he is like Stussy, you could get to the end, get the paralysis debuff, then you get just gear change him and suddenly he wipes away the paralysis b/c he behaves like Stussy???
【Sunglasses Pirates】Luffy is my favorite character, i have INT Gear 5 Luffy and i started OP TC for the 3rd time just to pull him on my 1st or 2nd try but as i saw that the PSY Gear 5 Luffy was higher in your Top 5 i thought i'm gonna save all my gems for him. Now that i know thx to you that it's the utility part of the PSY gear 5 that makes him great, i'm quite happy with my gear INT 5 and i was hoping a new year new gear 5 but this character is confusing me so much as it feels so restricted that it makes the INT gear 5 Luffy feel a lot less resticted than it is
I think the simple solution is: Double Luffy ZoroSanji Full team of straw hats (in theory that's not impossible for most cases) Use 1 Luffy EX turn one. Eventually use Zoro Sanji EX That's two 7x captains right there Which will then allow you to get the 3x damage increase and conditional PLUS weakened status. Yes ZoroSanji would make the territory useless but honestly sounds worth it Plus...... Demon Robin..... Insane damage potential with this guy
as long as you trigger gear 5th with this guy, the damage will actually be insane. The main Goal here is just to trigger his gear 5th, we dont care about anything else 😂
yeah apart from the 6,9 x that no one needs Nami is a way better paralysis resistance captain and is 2 years old. i guess they’re being silly until the anime continues
Yeah, I agree, but the banner is full with extremely busted legends like Zoro/Sanji, Ace, VS BlackBeard, and other fantastic units, so part one is certainly the best to choose from.
maybe you could run 10th anni roger for 3 supers. All he does is extend some things and luffy is needed for his requirement edit: nvm luffy isn't the right types and classes for roger...

you dont know bandai, they will put paralysis twice in the run so you need double G5 (having your own) and not just playing with a friend captain one
for me it's for rumble. Insane damage if paired with nami and Quina.
