I never liked this song, I do now. Your style, and the execution of your style is a beautiful thing. Pitch is spot on loud or soft with a beautiful falsetto. With the different iterations of YYnot, yours are the best by far. That band is the best rush cover band I've heard. Patty, I think you're well on your way to greatness.
First saw Patty and The Mayhaps at the State Theatre a little over a week ago. Wow. So impressive. Catchy rock songs, interesting driving bass lines, and then that voice! She tore the roof off the place in her set, then came back and filled in the Accidentals sound for their set (no mean feat, the Accidentals are already strong). I've been paying more attention to Patty and The Mayhaps, and spreading the word that there's good rocking to be had in modern music. Check out this trio live any time you get the chance!
After watching various videos of Patty PerShayla on the net, it's obvious she's the real deal. Great voice, plays multiple instruments and has a great stage presence. This was a great cover of this song but what else would we get from such a talented person.
I do not typically enjoy slow songs. However, I truly felt your heart and soul come through in this one. Thank you for giving me a few minutes of restfullness and peace at my job while listening to your beautiful voice Patty!

Patty Patty Patty, my goodness what a breath of fresh air you are. Multi talented as a player and wonderful vocalist. This particular song suits so very well in these times. A great big hill of hope for a destination.

I’ve seen countless good musicians that might have been worthy of a career that never made it. I’ve watched many TH-cam posts by Patty. Watched her play keys, uke, guitar and her traditional bass. When I saw her play last month here in Nola, she even took Lucas’s guitar for a song. This girl has a good head on her shoulders, plays a wide range of music, from ballad’s to kick ass rock and I for one really would like to see her succeed. Extremely subtle and sweet, or raw, on the other side, whenever she wants...noone can reach so quickly those extremes, with the same throat, ... a true singer...love Patty.
I am not sure how I missed this one. One more new sonic treat for the evening. I do not think I will see Patty with The Mayhaps any time soon but I can look forward to my second time seeing her sing with YYNOT! She blew all of us away at The Sherman in February 2022.
I saw her with the Mayhaps a few weeks ago here in Grand Rapids. She was in a great mood and her mom was there. She is better than ever and is a really good bass player and Lucas was great on guitar and even played some slide. Patty is a rock star waiting to happen. Her vocal range is astonishing. She can sing a lovely ballad like Little Nesting Dolls and then rip some early Geddy Lee, it’s unbelievable. I joined her Patreon to help her career along. Can’t wait to see what she does next.

My criteria after much difficulty to come up with specifics is “When I see it, I will know it.” Your impressions of her are my impressions as well. I look at the characteristics beyond the obvious music talent. She’s committed to this journey, organized, hard working, driven, makes things happen, pleasant, charismatic, willing to put it out there and try new things, a quick study, unique style, humble, effective humor to the point of goofy (rare), doesn’t take herself too seriously and so on. I note that she has a very sweet relationship with her mother which says a lot. The Accidentals just love her!

I've lain in bed and fallen to sleep listening to this because something about it just seems to calm me,and everything negative in my head goes somewhere else just long enough for me to thank GOD for sending one of his angels down here to sing me to sleep.
