    Amazing but the ice pieces are too big, it looks like a miniature breaking out. If that was real, it would be tons more smaller pieces crumbling but I am not dissing your work, this is quite incredible. Keep it up !

    It's looks incredible, only things that's stood out for me, ice fells too light, because some "shards" bounce. Because of that whole scene sometimes looks like miniature. Ice heavy and brittle, it shatters on impact (easy to check, take big chunk of ice and drop it from several stories on hard surfaces).
    But it's just nitpicking, great work, looks fantastic.

      What dof would be the correct one

    • @Sweenus987
      @Sweenus987 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@questmarq7901 I feel it's more the dof is in the wrong place, or perhaps too strong. Having it so strong in front gives it like a tilt-shift effect to me where I think if it were more in the rear of the ship, with something low detail in the background to be blurred, maybe another ship or something, it would probably look bigger. Perhaps a little bit of dof very close to the camera but only subtly.
      I'm not sure, but I think it already does but having the camera set up to have basically a telephoto lense can help too.
      th-cam.com/video/DGujsKb2e10/w-d-xo.html - Great video that explains the difference between wide, normal and telephoto lense.
      th-cam.com/video/Doe4paUkqAk/w-d-xo.html - Blender tutorial but does explain the idea of what I mean.
      Also, I'm still learning this stuff so I may be wrong.

      @@Sweenus987 I agree, that's the first thing I noticed about half way through. Then (thanks to another comment) I noticed the ice shards look small despite being huge, I think the ice needs to be thicker, more opaque, and slightly smaller shards, that plus what you said I think would make it look way bigger
