I'll never forget when you said you had the immediate realization that you'd never walk again but otherwise you'd be fine but as is probably the case with that boy , that's just not most people. It was brave of you to reach out to him and hopefully he'll find some peace and acceptance in his own time!

Have you ever tried I3C for your cold sores? I get Zazzee High Absorption Indole-3-Carbinol from Amazon. It says to take 1 tablet, but I take 2 at night with 1,000 mg of llysine. I used to get crazy bad cold sores frequently, but the I3C with the llysine has been an absolute life saver for me!

Possibly, could be Type 1 Herpes simplex virus. Treat it properly so it doesn't come back.
