Why do the ogres/kijin/oni have Japanese mythological ultimate skills? Like benimaru has ametarasu and shion has susano in the WN and souei has tsukiyomi.
@@ItsTimeSteve_ yeah I think those skills are from Shinto Mythology, idk maybe cus they practice haze style which was taught by Araki Byakyua, he was Japanese and maybe also cus they all use Japanese Swords and similar art styles to fight and also their culture was also Japanese even before they met Rimuru mainly cus of I think Araki Byakyua again

Enki are not Oni, they were the template that Twilight used to create the Oni. No one can evolve into an Enki. The only “True Ancestor” we have seen capable of reproducing is Sylvia, with her daughter Elmesia as proof. But ordinary Elves can never become High Elves either. Ogres usually have a hundred years to live or less, stated in LN Volume 3 Chapter 1. Hakuro is implied to be an Ogre Sage. Rimuru was just spitballing when he said they might’ve evolved to look more human because of his naming. The real explanation is because they aren’t “monsters” like the church claimed them to be out of racism, but actually Demi-Humans like elves and dwarves.
I just watched the show again for the 5th time but I've never seen these footage of Benimaru handing a sword this this other red headed kijin. Where did u get them? Is there another show banchig off of the slim?
Actually there's no fix evolution stages of a specie, they can evolved into lot of ways influence by nammer or environment or any other factors. It also called mutations as normaly they only last one or two generation. And most species evolved quite similar way. In the end they all can become spiritual life form with similar power level.

Their race come same way as ogre. They were also result of experiments done by twilight Valentine aka divine ancestor to create different types of specie . So they must have made a nation after twilight Valentine was killed by her daughter luminas Valentine. failed experiment to create ogres degraded over generations and become goblins.
None except the Yomigaeri. The Yomigaeri have a bit of Black Demon factor coz of the two Greater Demons of Diablo being sacrificed for their resurrection
So wait what exactly is aura, is it like ki or I guess life force? Cause if it naturally destroyed magicules how can monsters use it, can someone help explain?
Honestly, the Ogres looked better before they evolved. Especially Shuna. Don't get me wrong, she's still cute. But, come on. Could have at least kept the marks under her eyes.
