I love watching the reactions of the people behind Kim. This was a funeral, but people were so overcome with joy from hearing Kim's voice that they still smiled. What better way to honor Whitney's memory than to sing and rejoice in the gospel music she loved so much.
There were great tributes to Whitney but this by far was the best one...I still can't believe that was live, in a church, it was so emotional and raw yet beautiful. No wonder Whitney became the Greatest, look at these women she looked up to. Big shoes to fill! Whitney is one of a kind never to be duplicated or imitated. I was in fifth grade when she became famous. I loved her and she was such an elegant, beautiful lady. No disrespect but we don't see that often these days.
