The Ta 152 C-3 is a plane that's a support fighter while not just being bad.
Great early game opportunities but after the game develops you become reliant on what the teams are doing.

@@Siddich nah the ju288s are worse. Having 4 bombers on a team of 6 people is pretty much a guaranteed loss and it happens all the time

Their salt is a perfect seasoning on my gameplay.
As a Ta-152h pilot, I actually love matches with 5 Ju-288 and me alone. There is the possibility that I will get ace in a flight

"I don't know why but people just don't die when I hit them with these guns." This is the exact experience I've been having with the german 20mm's. They're so inconsistent, either when you touch somebody with like 1 round they immediately explode, or you just keep hitting them and it does nothing but give you hit after hit and crit after crit and they're just fine.
an issue with RNG generation I suspect. Perhaps they need to tweak them to a somewhat tighter tolerance.
People seem to complain so much about this .... i have no issue at all. Just 1tab and they go play next match.
if you see a big explosive when you hit enemy that's mean the mine shell is connected, they mostly orange the whole plane or just fall apart, if you hit them and doesn't show any explosive effect, probably just 7.9 or 13.2 hit.
and people have to take "Gaijined" moment into account.

That's weird because in ground rb a hit with my gunpodded bf109 f4 usually leads to the US revenge CAS plane violently destroyed😊

4:10 this is why I like to sometimes dive on 0% throttle and prop pitch so they don't hear you until you're firing your guns. Doesn't always work but it's pretty satisfying when it does.

I've always been more partial to the H-1 just because of its better flight performance and still fearsome armament, but maybe I'll try the C-3 now.
The Mk103 is a way better gun than the Mk108

The C3 and the H1 are good Bros . Distract people with the H1 and blow them out of the sky with the C3 . Good combo for 6.0

@@admiral_alman8671 The MK103 is bugged, Gaijin didn't change the maximum firing distance when they copied the rounds from the MK108 so even though they are travelling at a much higher velocity, they are still despawned by the game at the same distance as the MK108. It's less than 2km, meanwhile 50cals don't despawn for over 4km. If it was modelled properly you would be able to win every head-on against 50cals by firing at 3km, but for now I just fake-out the head-on and then turn back in and slap them with the good roll rate and brief flaps at 1km.

Aight so it's not just me who noticed MG151s aren't quite the same. I know the ballistics changes happened a bit ago, but I swear to god sometimes it feels like I'm shooting 7.5s at people.
M3 20mm cannon is absolutely dogshit now.
@@Arkhmar They nerfed the US and Germany, now the strongest 20mm for props are probably the Shvaks. Actual unironical russian 20mm bias right now. 2nd best are probably japanese navy 20mm (Mk2 version).
@@soapghostroach shvaks have always been very strong, they just eat up ammo so fast. I hope they dont murder the japanese guns next
I played the game for nearly 10 years now, less and less over time and almost exclusively the D-13 last time I was active in air RB but now I cant hit anything anymore, its like sorcery. and when I hit it barely does damage. Gaijin really ruined the 151s
I use Universal instead of Air Targets for more tracers so I can actually tell it hits, it seems to be much better for my combat effeciency. It may just be that you're not landing your hits, but at the same time I don't feel the "nuke rounds" effect it used to have either. But going from 1 in 6 rounds with tracers to 1 in 4(50% more) in exchange for 4 in 6 HEI to 2 in 4(25% less) makes it a little more of a certain that I land more of those HEI and API(for crits) shells.

Anyways for me Bf-109 K4 and TA 152 H-1 are the best planes in the game when played properly

I researched this plane back when it used to have 40k repair cost. No need to say I didn't play it much. I remember getting the achievement of spending 30k SL on the H1 and then proceeding to blow another 200k.

Ta’s engine irl had been tested up to 2600 hp (it’s 2300 hp in game). While the engine never flew with that much power because test pilot wanted to start safe, at least gaijin can reasonable give us a 2400 hp or 2500 hp engine in game, right? Right? Plz?
It is also for the F7Fs, lower than real engine output, for some reason Gaijin does not like superprops.
@@BeerSougion the thing is Ta-152C3 isn’t even a super prop. It’s a super disappointment - I dare say that most conventional mid/late war props can easily beat it, including the Fw190A and D series it’s meant to replace.

@@thomaszhang3101 It isn't likely to get more power because you need documented proof (2 sources at that) that it flew with said engine power. With no proof there is no change. Even with proof though there can be no change. See He-100D and Gaijin saying that Heinkel's own documentation isn't sufficient for Gaijin.
As for late war props beating it? Sure, if they can catch it but nothing below 5.0 can catch it and very few below 5.7 can in general either.

Yesterday i was playing with ta152h1 at 6.0 and ran in a VTE player with same plane in my team. It was the only good experience since that was the only game my team wasn't a bomber only lobby. It gets hard when you constantly face a full lobby of spitfires, f2g, f82 and your team is just ju-288... Feelsbadman

I love the C-3, it’s Dora-9 on steroids. I have 7:1 K/D ratio in the Ta, the only thing I’d wish for was more ammo
The Ta 152 C-3 is more effective in ground realistic, but at 6.0 there are better performing planes that also do the job.

Defyn can you fly the F4U4 not the B version the 50cal F4u4. I have noticed its performance is very lacking for what it should be IMHO. seems sluggish/heavy etc, I would like your opinion.
Defyn, here are some ideas of video you can make :
Thé Ki-83, the ultimate anti JU-288 rocket
Thé MB157, the french gigachad fighter
j5n1 is better, unless it's contender is a p47 (won't overshoot) it can pretty much out dogfight anything once it hits speeds below 300 and above 600. Ki83 loses a lot of thrust below 300 so stalling people out is going to be finnicky. It also locks up past 570.
The clue to agressive gameplay on this plane: get lucky and attack those who don't see you or are focused on smth specifically groundpound. Ok, thanks, DEFYN)

The MK103 has a bugged firing model and the rounds disappear after less than 2km because Gaijin just copied the fuze distance from the MK108 even though the rounds are travelling way faster.

Honestly, this plane is insanely good. Good engine power, absurd firepower, and quite good speed. Almost all of the super cracked pilots that I know main this aircraft and have like 14:1 KDR or something insane like that.

@@kingghidorah8106 I don't know how he does it, but I know that the air kills do not include AI targets. I myself don't use the plane, as I haven't tried it yet, but my best fighter is the Ta 152 H1, and I have been considering getting the C3 just to try out the insane quantity of guns on it.
I really don’t get how this plane is good. It’s power to weight is worse than Fw190D, it’s significantly more sluggish than any single engined fighters in game. It’s fast-ish, but far slower than most late war allied fighters, which is a problem because when they catch you, you are dead because you can’t turn.
The more firepower is fantastic, but unnecessary. 3x20mm on the D-13 is perfectly sufficient. The relatively low ammo count of the Ta-152C actually makes its guns a bit worse than D-13 imo.

It's been like that since the Ju288C was added, so 3 years. It's a well known problem and your only hope is that someone like Defyn makes a video on a German 6.0 fighter to get a short spike in german fighters, because the devs aren't gonna do anything about it. You could also get friends to squad up with, but that isn't always an option...

Virtually all of the HE ones need it. Currently all WW2 era HE rounds (with the exception of the AN/Ms) have an added frag effect that they shouldn't have. It makes them way more powerful than they should be.
They nerfed all 20 and 23 mm except browning colt. Sooner or later it will also come to larger autocannons.

I feel like the warthunder BR crisis would be handled quite effectively if they just put all the nations vehicles in the order in which they were manufactured and saw conflict. Sure there’s gonna be better or worse for some nations but guess what? That’s history. Get good and deal with it. Better yet, just get good. People complaining that one aircraft is way above or below it’s BR just can’t seem to get the idea to either improve skill or choose another aircraft/tank/ship.
This would make some nations completely unplayable and others extremely dominant in certain eras. For example that would put the A6M2 at around 2.0 where it will wipe darn near everything it sees fairly effortlessly. Thus this idea is significantly worse for balance than what we currently have. The answer to the BR crisis as you put it is to balance vehicles based on performance metrics in their intended roles and ignore player performance because around half of the players in the game are trash tier as it is. No more select attackers getting the fighter treatment, no more under BRed monsters like the P-39N, F4U-1s, 109F-1, no more badly over BRed aircraft like the A6Ms and N1Ks, et cetera.

My KD in this plane is pretty high. Yes your team gets fucked by ju288 spam every game but American fighters get tunnel vision on the 288’s; with air spawn and great guns I carry a lot of matches
