Looks great! Some viewers might think they would do something or other but really it's your fish room and you can literally do anything you want to. Get pink gravel for your next tank if you want to. I'm just happy to watch you do what makes you happy

Good for you Ryo. The white paint makes the fish room look cleaner and brighter. Also, making one goal per week is fine. Everyone has different styles of organization. Do what works for you.
The colors on that Tiger Lily leaves, so stunning! I just put some hydrocotyle tripartita Japan in a new tank (my first that will have fish) and I'm in love with it. It's supposed to be an easy plant & I think the shamrock shaped leaves are charming - that might look nice in the angel's tank.

I love watching your channel and seeing the progress you've made over the last couple years. You mentioned painting around the window and doors. Why not frame them so it's finished? I know your tools have been limited with renting them from the hardware store. You made all those beautiful racks, I think you can do it! Great work Ryo, thanks!

Gosh, Ryo. You are so sweet. I love that. The fish room looks excellent! I love the white ceiling and walls, great choices. I'd probably add anubias in the front of the new tank, cute little ones. And/or crypts. Maybe some Anubias Golden for a pop of chartreuse. Pink flamingo for a pop of pink. Or keep it all green and let the lotus be the star of the show! Great video!

I would plant lilaeopsis Brazilensis in the foreground. It's easy grow, doesn't get very tall and also the leaves are thicker than the mini grasses therefore less likely for algae to settle in. Well done for getting the painting finished ✔ I think we all tend to go into semi- hibernation mode during winter. ðŸ¤
Tiger lotus is a nice addition to the tank. Mine started as a tiny sprout, and now it's kinda covering the background plants, and the tank has been set up for over 4 months now, so the substrate barely has any nutrients yet it's still going wild.

I have for many years had thick gravel substrates. Good for plants, lots of biological benefits as well. I find it has always worked for me. Looks good brother. The room is coming along nicely. Take care man.
I was super adamant that I wanted my new fish room wall colours to be something darker however seeing how bright and clean your fish room looks really makes me re-consider my choices haha. I love seeing all these updates of your fish room, its really like we are just chatting over fish room plans or something.

The frogbit will get it's CO2 from the atmosphere not the water column
so maybe adding Co2 is not helping for the plants.. like the frogbit
What type of gravel is that?
Be careful not to paint big surfaces in a enclosed room without enough ventilation to the outside, fumes can be released depending the kind of paint and may contaminate water of your tanks (and you).
Smart choice to add some wood in a angel fish tank! Those may release some turba, which is acidic, preferred environment for south american river fish which promote reproduction!
Angelfish and low temperatures promotes long life, but can make them just a little bit more vulnerable against some deseases.
Your angelfish seems to be in a reproduction age/size (and those ones you got are beautiful!), and you got enough individuals as to have at least one pair. Some plant leaves (specially big ones) will tempt them to begin spawning, so you may add some smooth plastic surfaces close the a side of your tank to force them to spawn in there if you want to do an artificial hatching and you have more control for a success rate of live fry. Or you can use pieces of smooth tile resting in an angle in a side of the tank.
Overall, thats a beautiful setup! Congrats!
Tannins and humic acid! Thats what some woods and thick roots may release into the water. And those will be beneficial for angel fish for a healthier life and reproduction! Its been a long time since I had my angel fish hatchery!
