I found stripping peacock herl to be a giant pain and decided to just dub the body. I also found tying off the hackle a little easier using this technique: th-cam.com/video/I1Sn9JrdfpE/w-d-xo.html. To each his own. It's a cool pattern though, and I'm coming out with some great looking flies - usually my dries/emergers look a bit scraggly. Thanks again Steve and Co!

Is this fished as a dry or can it be a sub surface fly?
This fly is designed to sit just under the water surface with the parachute visible.
