「心香」二字，原表示衷心虔誠，如焚香敬佛一般。
原本電影《心香》講述祖孫兩人從誤會頻生、矛盾重重到互相理解的故事，刻畫了初始尷尬冷淡的祖孫最後產生依依不捨的親情，感人至深。二胡協奏曲《心香》中，作曲家將電影抒發的各種親情濃縮。而且不僅僅止步於電影故事的情感，趙季平強調深化了面對重重困難之後升騰而起的希望。
樂曲採用傳統的奏鳴曲式結構鋪排全曲，音樂在展開部和再現部之間加入了一個全曲高潮性的插部，引自電影原聲帶的主題在這裡以倒影出現，超脫至更高的境界，並在不同調性上延伸。

‘The True-hearted’ - this phrase vividly captures one's piety to Buddhism and extends to mean ‘truthfulness to life’.
The concerto is written using music material from the synonymous movie The True-hearted (1992). The movie depicted a grandpa and grandson growing deep relationship from an alienated relationship at the beginning, building up to a strong reluctance to part each other. When composing the concerto, the composer, who also wrote the film's original score, condensed the sentiments into a concerto-length piece as well as generalised the energy springing from the grandpa-grandson relationship to 'love' at large, stressing the hope that transcends after facing life-threatening adversity.
The piece is written in the backbone of sonata form. One notable moment in the piece is towards the end of the development section, where the theme quoted from the soundtrack appears in mirror inversion. The constantly uprising and metamorphosing theme extends into different key areas, subliming to new heights.

1,功夫:修练沉行悟道灵毅精，
2,心态:艺高胆大台上如台下，
3,弓法:慢长连击颤跳短顿快，
4,指法:扣打弹跳垫压点揉滑。
第一課，学琴九字诀。简单表述学习内容之一（悟）。
功夫中的(悟)字功: (悟)-悟之窍也 ! 视而不见则有之 ! 天来具有称之(天赋)，后天具有称之(灵感)，俗称之(悟性-悟道-悟空)又称之(.醒悟-领悟-开穷-开悟)，表现(学有专一，举一返三，族类傍通，一学就会，一点就通，一看就知，不教自通, 学有创新，新意不断- 样样行家, )，观查(反映快-来得快-做得好-与众不同)，常言道(天外有天-人外有人,见仁见智-老师带进門-成功在个人)，悟在(心中-脑海-全身)-归纳二字(用心)-开窍(悟道越远-看到越多-学到越全)-悟-学万物宝典之一。
