Storm Darragh, Rumenco Mineral licks and moving the cows indoors - episode 24

Storm Darragh hits the UK and causes chaos on the farm. We have lots of repair to carry out and decide to walk the cows back to the barn. Our dexter and jersey cattle seem pleased to be indoors. We have a poorly lamb which we work hard to keep going and our midland feeds delivery arrives. Follow as we bed up the cows and bring the feeders indoors ready for winter.

Join us on our journey as we diversify our 200 acre arable farm in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Despite being the 5th generation to farm here at Horncastle Farm, we took over in 2014 with no prior farming experience. We now farm here with our two boys Herbie (6) and Arnie (4).
In 2023 we opened our doors to the public for the first time - the VLOG aims to document our journey from an arable to a mixed farm as we diversify.
