Most people could be working, children at school. It was also REALLY hot. Possible some people were avoiding the heat. I happen to love the heat most find unbearable. Plenty of suncream and drink and I am a happy chappy.
Hi Dave. At 25:40 as you are approaching the alter there is a beautifully carved piece one the left. Do you know what it is or used for? Beautiful place. Thank you so much.
Unfortunately I don't know for sure. From what I have seen in other churches It usually houses the remains of someone important and then there is a statue of the person lying on top. But this one appears empty. Maybe it was used, but then the person was moved as per family request. That's my best guess.
