From someone who vividly remembers when this song was released, it literally never got old. It was overplayed for sure for like a year but I never changed to radio station.

Love this reaction, love this song. Salt'n Pepa were pioneers. So cool and fun. En Vogue are so beautiful and talented. Those two supergroups combined, one being hip hop and the other one from the R&B/Soul/Pop genre was just perfect. I believe the band's name is French for "in fashion." I was a little young to investigate them further but I always enjoyed when I heard them. Salt-N-Pepa were doing it before Cardi B & Meghan the Stallion were even born.
