About the handwriting:
I mistakenly made Kazui's handwriting much too messy last time, so it's a lot neater here. There's not actually such an extreme change in the original handwriting.
I had a difficult time telling if Amane's was any different, but at the very least it's consistently bigger. Could just be that they determined it was unnecessarily small the first time, though.
There's only one trial left so I won't bother at this point, but if there's ever a Milgram sequel (which I think there probably will be) I have plans to take more time studying the prisoners' handwriting and taking notes so that I can make their styles more accurate and consistent. If I get the chance it might also be nice to work with a few other people and split the work so that the handwriting is more naturally diverse instead of just variations of my own. I do worry this would be difficult though.
In other news, I finally sat down and organized all of my Milgram material. I’ve been doing this for about a year and just never felt like doing it…… my files were all named things like "cliopp" "sdsjfss" and "amam4" and sat randomly in my downloads. It was very sad. In particular, the image that shows up at the beginning of the VDs crediting the project and the translator took me FOREVER to find every single time. Anyway I fixed all of my problems and it only took like 15 minutes. I recommend organizing your files.
EDIT: I forgot to add the card crediting the translators at the beginning of the video. I'm very sorry for the mistake. Please support them at @Milgram_en on Twitter -> twitter.com/Milgram_en.
T/N Notes:
*Kazui Q4 [**0:23**]:* He uses "長男", which is a term used to indicate the eldest son in a household, but is used even when they're the only son. That is to say Kazui doesn't necessarily have any younger brothers.
*Kazui Q13 [**1:31**]:* This answer is purposefully vague and difficult to pinpoint the exact meaning. I saw a lot of different English interpretations. "I'm sorry, I'm not deserving" (@LittleMews_TTV), "No way, why that person?" (@JishoShosetsu), "Sorry, yes, I'd be this sort of person" (@miksnails). This one needs to be taken with a grain of salt.
*Kazui/Amane Q18 [**2:05**/**4:19**]:* "First love" just refers to the first time you felt romantic love towards someone. Like your first crush.
Milgram_en also noted that their use of they/them in their translations is for the sake of not implying anything, to match with the original Japanese text which doesn't specify numbers or gender when referring to people. They/them does not necessarily imply plurality, such as in Amane Q11 [3:36].
The very literal translation for Kazui’s Q13 answer (gomenda ne konna ningen) is “I’m sorry, this kind of human.”
“Thoughts on marriage?” “… it’s great for social credibility!”
“...And great for covering up the fact that I’m actually gay!”
Kazui really said "I ain't answering that shit"
kazui just casually leaving question 11 blank 😭
He really lost faith in his wife huh.. 💀
@@mikvmika4031he mixed feeling about wife
Maybe he loved her like a friend but not in a way that he wanted to
That’s my 2 cents on it
The fact that 6 prisoners were asked this trial who they aren’t fond of and only one of them answered Kotoko is kind of concerning to me.
well most people didn't really suffer her punishment, and Mahiru is too good of a person to actually hate her for it. People like Haruka, Yuno and Mu don't really care for the other people anyways. It is concerning but it makes sense all things considered. Honestly Futa is one of the most normal people there.
@@poporipopes4876 Fuuta really is the most sane/normal person in Milgram, lol
I mean, the answers have to be a bit personal and to related to the character or it would be pointless. From the Timeline conv I do't think any of them is in good terms with Kotoko right now, but if they all answered that they didn't liked her it would be really predictible and boring and won't bring any useful info at all, so yeah Fuuta's the only one for obvious reason
@@rainoftime37i always die a little inside when people call 20 year old guy who doxed a 13 year old girl for wearing a hat normal
he doxxed her for wearing a hat??@@batrex_
Some points about some of their answer (or lack thereof) here
°Kazui "isn't really fond of" Yuno because she can see through his lies, but also because they're kind of similar, as they both pointed out. So he sees himself in her as well. I don't think he *really* dislikes her or anything like that, it's more... a sense of discomfort I guess
°His lack of answer to the question "Did you loved the person you killed ?" (1:21 the timing of the song in the background killed me btw) is probably because there was no real answer. He didn't hate her, he geniunely cared about her you can see it clearly in the way he looked at her in Half. And damn, despite everything he still knows her for years and lived with her for a pretty long time. It was just not love in a romantic way. But considering his context he probably felt like both answer were wrong. I can imagine him standing in front of the paper and overthinking for a good while (absolutely breaking down inside) but just being totally unable to answer. Poor old man. Damn how I wish his answer's and Amane were swapped because ugh-
°Talking about Amane, her wanting to help Fuuta is cute... indeed... Except that it probably implies trying to endoctrinates him. Okay she's 12 y.o and that man is a hot headed stronghead and may not let it happend, but he's also not in shape, both physically and mentally. And that aside, no matter fi it's possible or noth it's really concerning and sad to see how Amane care and is still kind no matter what, but in that twisted way... I hate it so much she didn't deserved that.
Her answer about Mappi is geniunely cute though
Well also futa say he does not care not about her religion (not his actual word he say to her ) in timeline
@@runajain5773 But he also said something weird to Muu in the timeline I think ? Something about her being Haruka's salvation or somehting. And we know Fuuta and pretending he doesn't care goes very well together so I'm still worried
@@nocturne_interlude he refers to himself as "we" as well, similar to amane..
"My mother should have kept her faith until the very end" MY HEART 💔💔💔💔
I wonder if Amane's victim was her mother. Q19 is worded in a really omnious way to be overlooked and she does mention that she loved the person she killed
She did kill her mother we see who the abuser was and in early acsses on a design for amanes "punishment" the creators wrote mother hand so it was amanes mother who abused and then died by amanes hand tho she makes it sound like multiple ppl died nah just her for all we know
@@euanthomas749yeh also she love her parent but they abuse her I think his mother cat so she use religion to kill his abusive
Now we can know both her parents were killed
@@m.w8007 her dads on some like vacation to convert people to the cult i dont think he was killed how would amane even find him. no the man in the mv isnt her father
Anyone else not looking forward the Fuuta becoming a cultist arc?
In timeline you could happy that he does not care about her cult
@@runajain5773 actually you never really see his response, and in later timeline convos he starts referring to himself as "we" like amane and he talks about salvation
1:04 3:13
THEY MAKE ME SICKKK ESPECIALLY SINCE MAHIRU ALSO SAID THAT SHE WANTED TO CHECK UP ON AMANE 😭😭😭😭
"What prisoner is similar to you"
"Kashiki-chan"
Yuno is lesbian/j
Thanks for making another one of these. I guess this pretty much confirms that Amane killed her mother. It also gave credibility to the Kazui gay theory, even though I had my doubts before this video.
I’ve been doubting the Kazui gay theory too, but yeah, the “being accepted as me” answer is especially damning. Really interesting and unexpected direction to go with his story. I find it pretty amusing how much discussion there was on Muu potentially being a lesbian in trial one and then they hit us with surprise contender Kazui in trial two LMAO
ngl i was a gay kazui truther from the beginning so this and "cat" were both cool to see. i think its interesting that in the questions he implies the only issue with his parents is because of how he was born. and his description of marriage sounds very loveless
Amane's writing is so neat.. good job!!
kazui my beloved. i love kazui so much i am his #1 fan and only fan. i know everything about this man. things from height to how he acts and his favorite things all by memory. im the #1 all time listener to cat and several people have attempted to beat me; they never will. he is different from all the prisoners. something is just off in a good way. when i first saw cat i noticed something changed. i love kazui. he is absolutely perfect in every single way. im making a journey to comment on every video of him.
i get why amane isn't fond of shidou, it's because shidou is a doctor and her family has a very strong resistance to modern medicine
i am very late to the party but :
in question 10 he said that his father was a police man and that he wanted kazui to be one too,in the 2nd MV we see the proposal scene he was wearing police outfit ,which means that the marriage was to make his father happy and fullfil his wishes
plus in his 1st MV we see him in theater which i like to believe he works as an actor
and in his name meaning question he sad that his father named him that because he wanted him to be " a strong man" in quotation mark
which leads to my theory kazui was indeed gay since he was a child but wanted to live to his father or family expectations (in the marriage the scene where the crowd was smiling and clapping) so he just acted according to his father wishes and that why he kept lying and trying to make the relation work but his desire ( the green apple ) kept chasing him he couldn't escape so when he told his wife she couln't take it
that my theory i guess
“I had high expectations, and yet.”
Thanks for making this video! Gosh, I don't care all that much for Amane, but Kazui is my absolute favourite character, and his answers here made me cry a bit :') I 100% stand by the theory that he is gay, and that he married his wife to try and cover it up, hoping that it would turn him straight. The question where he couldn’t bring himself to write that he didn’t love his wife, aaaa so sad :( In my opinion, these answers only point further towards my theory being true, as have his previous voice dramas/interrogation questions/songs, it really shocks me that the fandom isn't all in agreement on the gay theory. So odd. But yeah, thanks for posting these! I don't have Twitter or anything so I wouldn't know where to find the questions and answers without these videos. And of course, congrats to Kazui for getting voted innocent!! :D
I think it’s so backwards to vote any of the suicide cases guilty… at the end if the day, that was just one of many decisions the other person couldve made
this interrogation questions really confirmed it to me tbh
I find the fandom's disagreement on Kazui being queer/gay hilarious TBH. We've seen Amane, a 12 years old girl straight up have murderous intent as a result of the values instilled into her through abuse during childhood. Shidou a doctor who's morals are challenged due to the nature of his profession and the desire to preserve the life of his own beloved wife by possibly performing organ transplants that are illegally acquired without consent of the patient's family. Mikoto, a DID patient, and yet God forbid Kazui to be a gay man who ended up in a marriage with a woman as a result of wanting to conform to the standards of the heteronormative society in order to escape from alienation and discrimination in his everyday life.

@@worm7064 ehhh, I'll give it to fuuta tho. Mf really drove a teenager to suicide because she was trying on a hat or sm
this is very interesting for reading, thanks so much for posting this! I enjoy MILGRAM content.. 💗
wasn't question 20 actually "how do you feel about you not being like everyone else" instead of "how do you feel about not being liked by everyone else"...? because those have very different meanings. which one actually is it?
Thank you for the correction. I went back and checked, and yes, you are right. I misread it. I’ve been working on these while very sick and it’s resulted in a few slip ups. I will make an addendum using the captions. Thank you very much.
Man what the HELL is Yuno showing Kazui 😭😭
Now this is just purely speculation, but I think Yuno was trying to get down with Kazui. Kazui wasn't exactly down with it 💀
I mean she seems like she can read people really well. And if we're going with the gay kazui theory, no one would be more acquainted with how straight guys act than a prostitute. Maybe she's sensing a suspicious lack of horny looks from him and pointing it out to mess with him
she shows him am i gay tests
@@yourhighnessshanzay
"Yuno, what are these?!"
"You know 😉"
HE LEFT THE QUESTION BLANK? 😭
because any answer he couldve given would be a lie. if he said yes hed be lying to his wife and if he said no hed be lying to himself
Kazui gay as hell
love how first you commented about being upset and then immediately spoke about how gay kazui is (real)
speaking such real truth
I kinda want to see amane help fuuta because that would look so cute, like siblings of some sort
I like how Amane feels she needs to help Fuuta. It shows that her good side didn't completly disappear after the guilty veredict

Notice how she likes Mappi, but talks as if she's ready
to acknowledge her being gone
I Theorize she made something to Shidou, so Mappi
has to 'overcome her own trial' alone, just like that cat
Its sweet that Kazui would rather take in Amane as family. I bet he would have been a good father
Edit: so im guessing its confirmed that in the cult Amane is from, that arranged marriages are expected. Then again, i hear that's common. Poor amane doesnt understand that she has a choice
Ummm… what is Yuno showing Kazui?
More than likely a reference to her repeatedly calling him out on his BS and forcing him to be face his true feelings, which is shown in some timeline conversations. A lot of fans like to bring up this one when discussing it:
Kazui: Ah... Haha, so that's it. I think I'd like a girl around my age. Having the ability to smooth the waters would be nice too. What sorta traits l'd like in the opposite sex, huh. Oh, that's right. I'm not even sure if this old man's input would be of any use to you tho. Uh, I mean, considering my age, that is. I like cuties who can laugh like they don't have a care in the world. That kinda thing has a healing effect on my worn-out heart.
Yuno: Mm-hmm. Sure, sure. That's such a lie, isn't it?
Kazui: Haha... Have a heart, will ya. You're putting me in a tight spot here, Kashiki-chan.
Her koochee /j
She ran up to him saying smash or pass and then stared him down while holding a picture of the bartender from his music video
@@realbadwordhours6235 😂😂😂
@@JutoMira That was where my mind went when I first read that too honestly, lol.
Who's Kashiki again?
Yuno
@@Кирбочучу Ph right ! Thanks!
1:21 what do you mean " "?
he left it blank
Kazui you don’t really want to adopt amane trust me
why doesnt amane like shidou?
Because Shidou is a doctor and uses medical tools to cure patients but in amane's cult it is required that they must not use any kind of tools to cure a patient but instead pray to cure them. Amane thinks Shidou is not listening to god or something I guess.
Okokok so if we’re going with the Kazui gay theory then might i propose Yuno lesbian theory?
THIS SHOULDN'T MAKE ME SO SAD WHAT
does anyone know the title of the song?
Kazui’s song is called Neo-Neon, and Amane’s song is called Animal. Both are by Deco*27
So she killed her mother?
