      Max McAllister I like it too, I refuse to do business with a company that has the “other” sign.

      Ditto. I had to stop the video to read it. Then I got a big smile on my face!! Good on you Max McAllister!

      I complimented him on that when I was down there. He's a great guy....and amazing company and staff. Did the full upgrade and it's everything you'd imagine.

    Brian... You are the man! I have over 200,000 on different bikes! I bow to you sir! Max, You rock my brother. Love your work and style of doing things right! Can I please ask what kind of green jacket is that and where can I get it? Also, I sold my Motoport/ cyclesport gear thinking I would never get to ride again. I have not ridden since 2008. Today, what is the "go-to" gear for all weather conditions. In the past I went through the BMW stuff, 2 Aerostiches and the Motoport kevlar. BY leagues the Motoport was better. What is state of the art now? sub'd and thumbs up! Awesome job!

    Good video, I will still stick with my 2002 goldwing... I am the third owner and its just now broken in with less than 45,000 miles... Untill gold wing gets their ducks back in a row....

    Hey Max! thanks for pointing out the tire lips forming... I have the same. I have a 2006 BMW R1200GSA, and the rear tire is worning in such way, as described here, but very visible. One side of the thread is lower, the other one is much higher. What is wrong with my suspension?? Do I just need to adjust the dampening correctly? I just got my rear shock rebuild this winter, I will start riding soon.

      Your 06 shock is ESA if I recall, it sounds like you need to replace it. Get that checked ASAP before you go on the road with it.

    • @szabolcsfejer1338

      E-Nonymouse not the ESA that cane only with 2010 models. Or 2008

      Thank you Max, i can adjust the rebound damping with a screw, the preload is pretty much on the harder side

    What’s the significance of those lights pulsing like that?

    • @michaelborchers4947
      @michaelborchers4947 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Max McAllister : No, it's how LED lights show up in videos. Because of the frames per seconds the cameras films at.

    Hi Max, how many miles do you predict your suspension will get before it needs replacement? And what is the cost including installation front and rear? Thanks Mark

    • @Traxxion
      @Traxxion  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It will never require replacement, but it does require service, which we recommend at 50-60,000 miles.
      The cost of our shocks and tie rod installed is $2650.

    • @mkoehler222

      @@Traxxion Thank you for the reply Max. I am thinking about getting a leftover 2018 tour model soon. Trying to decide if it's worth the cost of of all the upgrades? Love all the videos, it's a great help. Thanks Mark.

    So a brand new $30,000 Gold Wing needs a rear suspension upgrade - you can't put 2 helmets in the rear case cause they won't fit - a sub-standard seat comfort wise - a disappointing Honda engineering fail ....

    • @cruisemansgarage

      You could make the same arguments about most any production motorcycle.

    • @Enonymouse_

      Honda's stock suspension on various bikes is bad across the board like Traxxion says, way too soft and under spring. Mine has no adjustment in the back. :/ The bad thing is most won't realize this until they log a lot of miles on it.

      @@Story_Teller925 I'll say this Off Topic statement....Honda has nothing on HD in the paint/finish department...Honda needs to step up their cheap paint finish on these expensive bikes !! Lol
