Don't know why there's a stereotype about cat being unbothered when their human comes back home. I sit in next room to work and everytime I come see my cat he greets me. Same was with my friends cat. Whenever we used to go out and come back he used to greet us. He even did that when I was away for a week and then back.
Most cats don't, so that's why this is a stereotype. It doesn't mean that all cats don't greet their owners.

The issue, therefore, could be that cats struggle to identify humans’ intentions and feelings, which can come across as coldness. This might also explain why your cat doesn’t always appreciate your cutesy pet talk, or why they may not jump for joy when you return after a long trip. Unlike dogs, they’re simply not as literate in reading humans.
The cat stereotype is not always true.. My cat comes RUNNING to greet me at the door when I come home, or when he comes back from his outdoor adventures, and then rubs my legs and wants cuddles for the next 10 minutes (he is so excited he even refuses to eat). I don't put him on a leash when we're out coz he just follows me like a puppy - he even goes jogging with me. He comes when he's called, he's talkative, so loving and caring. He's happiest just by my side ❤ PS I used to be a dog person and despised cats, until I got a cat

GUYS! Why are all the comments hating on each other for liking an animal. Personally I think that the dogs and cats can be completely different from the video. I have several dogs and am allergic to cats, but that doesn't mean that I don't love my friends cats who are so sweet and playful. I think that all animals are different and we all need to understand that animals are different and we should love them all equally and respect others opinions rather than hate on them.

The food part tho. I give my cat food, and she goes WILD for it. She eats it in a second! Also the when I come back from work part. She goes at me, even if she is sleeping. I always see her at the door with her tail pointing straight up! The love part... She LOVES me!!! The games part.. My cat, is a playful VERY playful cat. Food part... My cat eats everything I give to her. Place to pet them: Head, Chest, Legs/Hands. And yes, there are picky cats, but mine isn't, and some other's aren't. So they should add a side note that some cats prefur(get it????) more things!

I like dogs and cats equally. Most people that prefer dogs over cats say that cats are lazy, but honestly not all are. (My cat is more energetic than most dogs.) And to people that prefer cats over dogs and say dogs are too messy, they can be messy, yeah, but a lot aren't. (Usually puppies are only messy.)
So that's what I wanted to say. I'm just sick of people saying "Dogs are better" or "Cats or better", lets just say that the two animals are very different and have their own pros and cons. ☺

My cats cry the entire time I’m gone from home and rush to greet me when I get back. Cats tell you they love you by bumping their head onto you, slow blinking and sleeping with you. They can be very affectionate, it’s just not as obvious as dogs.

My dog is pretty quiet all the other dogs in the neighbourhood bark their hollow heads off whenever I walk by which is really annoying but the stray cats are quiet and even come up to me for pats and they keep the rodent population down. The CrazyX i walk them, they like it and they play whit kids too. they are like cats and dogs mix, i allways think that my cats secretly want to be dogs, like if your cat does too or at least you think that.
and they are indoor cats too, so they enjoy being near me and my parents, siblings and cousins,......and mostly the small kids in our family (like from 0 to 10)
