Listen, the mandir is not being built from tax money. It’s from the donations made by private citizens. Literally nobody has the concern to question this. The SC has given its verdict. And this comes under freedom of religion.
you cannot unanimously decide what the priorities should be in a pluralistic society. The BSE are not shutting down on the day of pran prathishta. So one is not being neglected for the other. You have a very narrow understanding of human life, needs & civilization if you do that. People always willingly spend money on their spiritual practices (even if it is as little as buying agarbatti, buying a Christmas star, etc.).
Stop being a colonial slave, you live in a sovereign state now. Also, use your brain & look into the facts, I know this is tougher than regurgitating opinions you've heard from your masters but try. Temples are NOT tax exempt in India. This is going to generate a lot of revenue & tourism.

Sahi kaha. Mandir can be more beneficial to society than a SEZ. Deoghar is a small town but the entire economy is due to a temple. But opening temples everywhere is not helpful but a waste of money & resources. But Ayodhya is a sacred place to set up a temple which will bring religious tourism and self pride.

Though i was born in orthodox hindu family, i no longer follow any religion but Lod Ram is more than just a religious figure to me, i don't know if he existed or not, but i know he is an example of how a ideal man should be... I totally agree with the fact that how our Indian history a long with our education system is so distorted and must be changed. However, I would like to argue upon if Modi and Yogi had dedicated their entire lives living like a brahmachari just for a trend that they thought would hit the generation in the future, a trend that seemed to never exist back then when all the politician were ruling on minority appeasement. Hopefully people will come together and donate this much money to DRDO or other reserach institutes in the upcoming year. Government throws a couple of freebies and the populace runs to catch them.
