I was familiar with the concept of cities manifesting as a human entity before but this a first for a planet. I hope there is more to come.
There is at least one Asimov story with this happening. The foundation saga.
If you like that type of concept, there’s a human that merged with a plant. At first all the creatures, plants, etc acted on instincts. After the merge, the human connected not only the planet but all things in it. As example when she had to take a crap, she felt a herd of animals taking a crap at the same time. When she walks, she can feel the creatures at her feet and at the same time feel the creatures thoughts/feelings as they get stepped on. So she has her own perspective as well as everything on the plant. It’s weird and she says it’s weird and hard to explain.
It’s a series on Reddit but there’s a video about it. 99.9% of the universe (or something like that). This is only part of the main story. Also the video series isn’t on that part of the story yet. I had to read on reddit to continue since waiting on the narrative videos was too slow.
