Saving for a borla now. Your video was helpful as! How long did it take to install? Also, when you say "tighten everything to 35 ft pounds". What does that mean?
I just bought a veloster N and I really like your side skirts. My side skirt has a fluorescent red stripe running through the middle of it. Where did you get these side skirts? I love them.
@@chrizzz619 Thank you for that info. Can I ask you another question? I like your “N” on your side skirts. Did you paint those “N”s on the side skirts or did you buy an emblem or badge and glue it on there? If you bought them, do you remember which store you got them from?
@@davidibts1773 they’re decals! I got them from this guy in the N forums, I’m not sure if he still sells them or not, I’ve seen other people also put the “N” badge from the floor mats and just use 3m tape
Thanks! I’m not completely sure if it fits the 2021 DCT model, I know for the intakes and intercooler the DCT models are a bit different, I’m not sure about the manual tho, it should fit but don’t take my word for it, if I were you I would contact borla directly and ask them to confirm the fitment on your car!
Hoping you see this! When mine is not in N Mode the valve is not closed all the way and if I rev the car it closes the valve and has a rattle. N mode is completely fine and wide open. Do you think the exhaust shop did the valve backwards somehow or is that not possible? THANKS!
No this problem is actually common! On mine it does the same thing, if it’s on the “valve closed setting” it only closes when the car gets revved, some people have fixed the rattle by replacing the spring with I believe is a hellcat valve spring, can’t remember exactly which one at the moment.
After seeing a video of an N with a single exit sounding amazing do you think it would be possible for an exhaust shop to make a single straight pipe from the mid pipe? Not trying to cut or weld anything because of the warranty and resale
Why would you want a single exhaust exit lol? Dual exhaust exits help the engine breath much better and allow exhausts to flow out of the pipe better. You will lose power which i’m sure your not looking for right? Plus dual exits look much more clean and have a better overall look imo but you do you.
I didn’t try it! Haha I’ll try and find the dimensions for it and let you know, if not you can always take out the parts and put the exhaust down the middle by the armrest it shouldn’t be in your way
I am getting ready to install the Elantra N version of this system, and your video cleared up some questions I had. Thank you!
great video! about to order it for my Kona just wanted to get an idea on the install..very clear thank you!
I just installed my Borla on my 2020 VN and used your video as a guide, thanks a lot!
Great video! Straight to the install, very simple. Replace those harbor freight jack stands though
Very sweet install

What’s the torque spec on the dp to mid pipe nuts
I just installed mine and it stickes out the same amount on the pasanger side on mine I thought it was me ig this is just how it is
Does this box fit in the back of the N? I’m about to pick one up and hoping it’ll fit back there haha

What's that tool called you use for the hangers to pop it out?
It’s a exhaust hanger removal tool, I put a link in the description from Amazon where I got it from :)
Also if you have WD-40 you can spray it on that and it will slip right off
What downpipe are you using...or is it stock?
It’s the stock downpipe
@@chrizzz619 Is this a 3inch unit?
@@cindysue5474 yes it is! It’s a 3 inch unit with 5inch tips!
@@chrizzz619 Match that with a 3 inch down pipe and 200 cell count cat you will pick up some good numbers there.
