Basho Valley Skardu | Basho Valley Jeep Track | Road to Basho valley | Ahsan Arain

Assalamualikum,
Basho valley Skardu is located in Roundu Division of Skardu District, Gilgit Baltistan. The Basho Valley, with its extreme beauty, majestic snow-capped mountains, and primitive charm, is one of the favorite places to visit in Skardu, the Northern area of Pakistan.
The valley is almost 8,800 feet above sea level. Around 45 km away from Skardu, Gilgit Baltistan, and at approx.10,000 ft high.
The valley has high mountains on three sides. Which is also home to deer, markhor, ibex, and snow leopard. This area is distinguished in the entire region due to the vast forests and beautiful landscapes. The only Eco-adventure place in the Baltistan region. The picturesque and demoralized valley of Baltistan, Bashu Valley, is a sight to behold.
Approximately, after one and a half drive from #Skardu towards Gilgit, you will see a bridge crossing at Indus river on the left side of road. Give it a try to walk on the bridge and you'll really enjoy walking in a swinging motion.
Basho valley starts right after the bridge but its a long forest. After One nd Half hour ( 1:30 ) Jeep Track after crossing the bridge it will take you to the open space rather beautiful and breath taking valley with forest of pine trees, river flowing amid valley, peaceful silence and awesome weather. In fact you'll find nature at its best.
I would say, this is one of the finest places on earth, not explored well by people as I didn't see detailed vlog on it. The road leading to the valley is deadliest and reminded me of the dangerous fairy meadows track but offers heavenly views to its viewers.
There is a camping site up there besides the river named Basho river ideal for an evening with cooking and fun experience.
Remember, it doesn't matter how long and difficult is the travel as long as every turn of the journey gives a feel of destination.

This is an unexplored valley,so need more exploration.Hotel,road and communication are important facilities to attract tourist.There is a need for good bridges and tourist guidance.The group has done good job to explore this valley.
