Yeah I’m quite curious about that ancestral recall play… naturally you would assume mind twist hits the stack, then responds with acall so acall would resolve first, then mind twist right? You can’t put acall on the stack first as if you played it before once the mindtwist has been played can you?
Yea I agreed! It could use some main deck shatters as well in my opinion- especially when you run with blood moons you want a way to remove his colored moxen as well and the meta is so artifact heavy here in 2021. But dreams almost had him in the first match - and the 2nd loss was against a turn 1 LoA that went unanswered the entire game - perhaps combo-dreams would had fared far better against a less OP opening from robots :)
@@RaVNeFLoK Not to distract from the deck discussion but... Have you considered getting 4 altered revised swords to plowshares? Gandalf facing the Balroq with the flavor text altered to "Go back to the shadow!" If you wanted to, you could even have the 4 plows form a small comic of the showdown. Back to the deck: I don't really feel strongly about shatter, but I can see your point. Something I did find a little odd was 4 maze + 2 blood moon. Not the best synergy i've ever seen :P
@@yamchadragonball6983 ah man that would be awesome. My swords are beta though so to me it’s a bit crazy and almost sacrilegious to alter them - but I could get 4 revised swords altered. It’s a great idea for sure. Yeah lol probably better with less mazes with those moons that’s certainly true. Perhaps a few icy instead. They work ok with the blood moon strategy as well as you can always tap down his colored mana with them. :)
@@RaVNeFLoK Yeah, it's iconoclastic to alter unl/beta/alpha cards. That's why i suggested Revised ;) Maze is a great card, just a little less reliable with the moons. I'd rather go with perhaps 1-2 abyss, some bolts and maybe a few chain lightning for the anti-creature package. Terror in the board perhaps? Few shatters main and sideboard.

Indeed. When acall is played in response to twist it is “first in last out” IE. acall resolves first and then the mind twist resolves. :)
Combo dreams gives me some ideas of how to thin my dreams deck out. 👍🏻
