- After 3 days of practice of constantly changing weather conditions. if you havent seen the practice video be sure to watch! A decision has to be made on whether or not to look for sight bass in Lake Toho or make the long run and Lock to fish Lake Kissimmee. I catch one of the biggest bass of my life during the bass fishing FLW tour tournament.

Is it bad that I get just as excited as you catching a good one and it's a year later?? I got family that live in St. Cloud Florida now, my uncle lived 5 minutes away from Big Toho marina for 36 years and I use to go down every February and spend a week fishing with him. We would shiner fish but I would flip and pitch to. My Uncle passed away this past May. Last time I got to fish with him we went to Stick Marsh and he caught a 12 pound 2 oz giant! I caught a little 2 lb dink and so did my cousin. But seeing him catch that 12 pound bass is one of my favorite memory of him. We always fished Toho, it's always and still is my Favorite lake. I grew up in Southeastern Kentucky in the mountains. Went to the Marines after high school and now live in North East Tennessee, talking about a big difference between lakes clear DEEP vs Florida lakes!! Sorry wrote so much, but seeing you fish there and seeing the New Toho Marina just brings back so many great memories of fishing there with my Dad and Uncle and the rest of my family and friends. Again I know this is over a year old, but I still wish you good luck for this year. From an old Marine, tight lines and Semper Fi! Stay safe out there and keep the videos coming.

Super sack on ANY body of water!!!!👍After all these years it still amazes me that a fish can pull off with a good hook set, no line slack! I went back and watched 3 times and not one thing could you have done different to keep from loosing that fish. You now can add that to the one fish you wish you could get back. Love watching your vids. Like being in the boat with ya!!! Get the netttt!!!!
Yea revitup I had to put a little more presume to the right to keep her from going in grass..and the other factor it that big bass have alot more bone structure!

They still bite in mud just put a red square bill on and don't put it down!
10-4, fished Friday and threw a red craw for about 3 hours with no luck. Water temps. 47-49 and its heavy stained. Thanks Dennis

What size line and size and style of hook were you using on your spinning rod with the wacky rig considering there was some gnarly pads and other weeds in the area? Hardly ever see a big fish pull off of a wacky rig??? SMH along with you....
All my spinning is always rigged with 15lb gamma braid and most of the time 8lb fl but in FL I was using 10 lb floro . Thanks for watching russ!

No it was a prototype that was junk and could only be used for flipping I use alot of different reals!
