Great video! Acid V is awesome. It makes me feel like I have a modded 303 in a professional studio like the old days with out the programming hassles or the need for a closet full of stomp box effects! I love using the undo/redo feature with the various randomization options for a live jam. You can always jump back and forth between prior grooves which is killer. Something you cannot do on any other 303 clone I have seen. It sounds great and is my new favorite 303 to use to be honest.
I bought it this morning. The sequencer with the "generate" function is awesome, because you can really guide it in the direction you want it to go in. Really easy to find new, nice sounding sequences. I had FL's Transistor Bass for a while, but never really got into it. Idk, never really clicked with me. I like Acid Basslines too, but generally used serum / phase plant rather than TB. Acid V is really nice to use, sounds good almost no matter what i did. Didn't have that with Transistor Bass. Over all a really nice plugin i have to say. Especially when you struggle with writer's block, like i sometimes do, the sequencer is really good.
Got it. Love it. I already had Pigments, which I'm sure could be made to sound almost the same, but Acid V had exactly the sound I was looking for right out of the box.
Wow, the missing start/stop button on the UI (assume you're running dawless) seems like an oversight on an otherwise outstanding product. I'm a total sequencer noob, so there may be much better sequencer VSTs out there, but I'd buy this just for the sequencer. There must be an F-key or keyboard shortcut for start/stop so you can run this totally on its own.
❤ Love the 303. The detail on the sequencer was very useful. I've justed playing with Stepic. If you have not used it, I highly recommend it! There are similarities, but could see Stepic and the 303 working brilliantly together.
@@jensbarth5207 I am now total Stepic convert. What a brilliant bit of kit and damn cheap. Among other things, I'm using it to sequence my NDLR sequencer, changing chords and degrees in polyrythms, seitching between instrumrnts, etc. Also using it to control the Bitwig instrument directly. Five star product!
you went full Rabbitman mode! :O It's funny, I was wanting a MS-20 plugin, and boom, Arturia added one to V Collection. I wanted a new 303 and boom. Instant buy. Now if they'll just make me a K5000 >_>
Yes. Acid V is a one trick pony for people like me who like the TB-303 sound and don't want to make the effort to program the sequences and sounds on a general purpose synth such a Pigments.
You did this tight and positive and Arturia's Acid V deserves this. Great Job ✌🏼
@@johnhamers4571 Thank you! It a powerful synth
will get it tomorrow. Did wait a bit to get a 303 and there were different options, Arturia released theirs at the right moment (for me)
Nice, love when those coincidences happen

Great! I'm fiding that most people liked this one a lot
Your videos are the best Alex!! I can’t wait to hear the new songs you are cooking 🧑🍳
Thank you! Now in september I'm going to start turning some structured ideas into full songs :)

It really shows that Arturia work on every detail to make a nice synth experience

Honestly in Pigments I haven't been able to replicate that sound, at least not perfectly. They should add Acid filter next
I got it this morning (49 euros for Arturia's customers). Sounds great, and so much fun to play with. Una joya.
I like it a lot too, the sound is great and the sequencer is nuts
Nice vid....loving the V!
I will take the new sequencer over the hardware method any day.
Where is the Run/Stop Button???
it plays slong with your DAW
Press a key on your MIDI keyboard or add a long note in your DAW.

it's nice that batman reviews synths
Thanks bro , now you are my second youseff . sold me this one ! 😂
I'm an hypocritycal loool. This one is really good tbh :)

I have to test Stepic! Always forgot to
Stepic is much more powerful than the sequencer pf Acid V.

All the way down through the rabbit hole!
Can you want a sh101 please ? Would be great to use your powers for helping other to fulfill their dreams ;)
Una pregunta estupida, hay una forma fácil de borrar pasos del sequencer?
Creo que se borran con el click derecho
ahhhhhh just the vid I was waiting for. VST i'm hype about and one of my fav youtubers. The original sequencer is so bad i'm glad we got a better one.
Heey thanks a lot!! Yeah, honestly didn't expected a sequencer as powerful as the one on Pigments, but here we have it!
There is no way to change patterns via midi. This is a huge missing feature !
That'd be awesome
Big agreement on that. I would also like to be able to change presets via MIDI.
A great plugin. Unfortunately Acid is absolutely not my music, the sounds neither. Arturia should better update Spark.

Oh, what's up with your mask...
changed :)
