I just finished watching the first season & I loved it! I can not wait until we get season two! It’s really well done. Reminds me a lot of the original series as well.
This is great, I always found the initial voiceover by Addison/Caitlin kinda drags at the end "his next leap... takes him back... to the place... and people... he calls home" feels like she just ran into the recording booth and did it in one take while still catching her breath BUT with the prelude from the original theme, it kinda makes more sense of the pace. (I still feel "his next leap... will be the leap home" said it better though!) Then once the logo popped up and the main theme started I just got instant chills. I really like the reboot but it needs a proper theme tune so badly, even the end credits music is too serene, it's like they didn't even try. What I wouldn't give for a decent 2020s remake of the original theme...!
I did try but it kinda worked better with the syncing without. Im sure ill do a redux soon and fine tune it. Most of this was locked in before the season break
I am already more invested in this series with this intro, I understand the producers want to make a new show, but the QL theme is such a classic, it is part of the magic of the original. Its like James Bond, Star Wars, Star trek, Indiana Jones, there is a theme and commonality.
i like this intro and show opening for the reboot and new series even if it's not a real intro for the show and it's fan made. i also like that this intro has the mike post theme and original theme music from the original series.

Yeah, time we live in where minimal titles seem to be a thing now. Sad because titles make it fully emersive
They need to include this theme in the reboot.

Unfortunatly, although officially a sequel series, they seem to be distancing themselves too much from the original canon its jarring sometimes
Well it's the best for this particular iteration I've seen. But it needs more fast paced scenes.
