@@killasin303 Yeah Mayweather was talented but there have been many fighters as fast or faster than Floyd, and Floyd was never very strong. He worked his ass off since childhood and grew up in an elite boxing family that molded his talent and skills. Roy Jones Jr. was purely naturally talented, he was unbeatable and superhuman in his prime but when his speed slowed down and he aged a bit, he didn't have the skills to keep him at the top, unlike Floyd.
Cerebral? Really? You realize boxing can lead to getting Cerebral Palsy right? Lmao. 96 percent of boxers sustain a brain injury in their career. Boxing rules were made to aid betting and not the fighters. The gloves spread the area of impact out so boxers will sustain a punch that should of knocked them out but didn't because of the gloves and get hit 4 more times and get Alzheimer's at 50. Watching someone who is punch drunk makes me physically ill.
Theo Dore What are you even doing here man go watch a vegan video or something.
Floyd carried Conor in that fight. the only reason he was even able to tag Floyd was because he fought peekaboo style. Floyd never fights like that. Floyd wasn't scared of his punches
Facts
Peak a boo? Are you high? He was just high guarding not peak a booing.
irish rover You mean the uppercut he shrugged off and the clear low blow in the 9th?
Conor is my favorite mma fighter and fair play to him for stepping outside of his comfort zone but Conor looked like the 40 year old coming off retirement.
Floyd could have “ran” and fought cautiously and coasted to a 12 round shutout but he knew the threat was minimal and played with his food. Hats off to Conor though, truly.
The final boss of boxing, long live TBE 🥊
Floyd made MMA famous. His domination of boxing coincides with the rise of popularity in MMA, as people who didn't like him were looking at another source to get their fight fix.
No, I liked MMA because it's MMA, Floyd had nothing to do with it. I can watch both and be satisfied.

It's great when people congratulate winners and admire them. So much hate in this world on greatness. Thanks y'all
I don't think anybody can defeat a prime Mayweather in a boxing ring. it's his game
theres probably a couple of fighters but you have to look at fighters from past generations that probably could of. Like a prime Ray Leonard, a prime Roberto Duran, Tommy Hearns, maybe a prime Pernell Whitaker? it would be great to watch floyd vs any of those guys, Those are all 50/50 imo.
I know who can. Lloyd Cunningham. No one ever knows him but he retired 64-0-0 and beat all of the best fighters in his generation. He was a welterweight but he was boxing before he belts ever existed.

You'd think if Floyd hit you you would take photos so you can sue his ass and get a nice paycheck. Seems strange that we haven't seen any.
You're an idiot when you settle out of court you have to signed non disclosure agreements and not you obviously don't know what you're talking about LMAO

Troy McClure naw just speaking facts
It's because he's a pure athlete and technician at his sport. You can question his intelligence when he speaks, or his knowledge in general, but when not when it comes to his mental acuity in boxing. It has been honed through decades of struggling to be better at one thing, that requires determination, dedication, ferocity, and tenacity. Imagine choosing to get punched in face, until you are so able at the sport, that you rarely get hit in the face, and the dominating.
Connor McGregor shouldn't have defended rocky Marciano's undefeated record. He's not a boxer.
@LAVAR BALL Yea i would because the only way Conner could have won is if he kicked so i would say it dosen't count. Hes a fucking joke in the boxing world.
@LAVAR BALL dude what the hell is your excuse? You think im mad at floyd but im not. All Im just saying is that fight disrespected both Floyd and rocky Marciano's legacy. I never scale it back esp when i achieve something.
@@likakana lol Mariano's legacy...... you mean the guy who fought cab drivers and cousins and fixed fights with the mafia and never fought prime fighters like floyd Patterson .Please he is the no different then Balboa. @@allenali2154 Im new to the sport but his rec looks good to me. I suggest watching his fights the guy was a savage.
The Mafia > McGregor
The DeMarcus Corley fight is one of Floyd's best fights!!! Crazy back and forth.
Roy Jones jr is the greatest fighter ever watch him in his prime
Roy Jones Jr. looked super human in his prime. He is the most athletic boxer ever. Nobody could touch him and he could one shot KO people with body shots. Absolutely crazy. Dude played a semi pro basketball game in the morning and had a championship fight that evening. Who does that!?
Dude had everything man. Defence, power, elite reaction time, speed...just incredible.
Steroid user. He's a cheater.
When is Floyd gonna get on Joe Rogan?
Sharmba Mitchell rocked Floyd at the end of a round lol
And Floyd’s most exciting fight against Emmanuel Augustus, he got rocked too.
But how crazy is it we can count on one hand the amount of times he’s been cracked. TBE 🐐
And they stopped both fights
Hezzy and rogan on the same day brilliant idiota drop...today was a good day

Terence Crawford & Errol spence are the new generation that fight would be insane🔥🥊
Floyd is the goat. Not just defensively. Anyone who has watches his whole career knows he's one of the greatest offensively aswell. He had to adjust his style because he kept breaking his hands. Highest punch accuracy, insane speed, counter punching, straight rights, combos. Everything.
Floyd is not the goat except in the eyes of the casual fan who doesnt know the sport or its history. Floyd is top 30 at best.
@Ricky Rick wow. Thats pretty racist. Welcome to Trumps America
al zolez Something a casual fan would say. People who appreciate the sweet science know Floyd is the greatest boxer of all time. Forget his antics - he literally has no holes in his game, great condition, great speed and knows how to adjust to any style. The only downside to him is that he has no power, but he’s still known as the greatest boxer ever.
@@amadeuschavez. lol! A casual calling me a casual. Ive forgotten more boxing than you've ever known and I'm sure you've never stepped inside those ropes. If your case is based on condition, speed and adjustments it makes me question if you've ever watched anyone besides him fight.
You obviously don't know what you're talking about Floyd Mayweather cherry picked his opponents he never actually challenged himself then he had a hard time in a match he would break the rules we saw that with the Shane fight when he got knocked down and grabbed his arm 😂 , he actually lost to Jose, Oscar, and maidiana the first time. Floyd makes all these complicated rules then waits years to fight opponents Floyd will go down as a chicken, women beater LMAO please educate yourself and research more
exactly right on the junk food thing. when I was in my 20's doing sport almost every day I used to eat about 5000 calories every day and about half of it was total junk. if you are super fit and constantly working out especially with lots of aerobic exercise you will still be in tremendous shape. only when you're young though.
Floyd vs Chop Chop was a crazy exciting war .
I love how they both repeatedly switched the subject at any chance just to be able to be the one to regurgitate information they happen to of picked up through life
Floyd knew Connor had no power
With floyd you have to separate the man from the job. Questionable man but one of the best to ever do he’s job in the squared circle. Takes boxers strengths so they are just left with their weaknesses
Floyd has underrated power
Amazing, analyzed discussion 🙏👏🏆
Thanks for putting guest name in the title.
Bruh Mayweather has barely ever been touched, they gotta give the boxers that hit him a reward
The reaction time Floyd has is compared to none..the way he just slips the jab n comes back with that counter right hand..the speed..
It´s also a timing thing. Usually he lures the oppponent to throw that jab. He knows it´s coming like he knows the right hand will follow, wich he will duck under.
I hate when they reach to give Conor props for that fight. Name one other time Floyd put his hands on his temple & just stood in front of his opponent?
What does that have to do with Conor landing shots?
Duh, cos he wasn't fighting remotely defensively. He didn't throw a jab or move his head for three rounds ffs. He was playing with Conor and putting on a show. Anyone who disagrees simply doesn't understand what they were watching. Floyd walked down a much bigger man and basically removed any remote competitiveness after the first few body shots he landed. Basically he had zero respect for Conor's awful boxing.
@@stevebb2915 then how come he couldnt get conor out of there in the middle rounds he he started landing his shots. Saying that under sells conors ability as a fighter. Trust me floyd would have ended it earlier if he was "playing" with him.

the floyd break down about the first round was great!!
Floyd is Olympic boxer at the highest level!!!!
Mayweather is waaaaaayyyy faster than McGregor. Even 41 year old Floyd probably has 30 percent faster hand speed and probably triple reaction time compared to MacGregor.
People always forget about how Pretty Boy Floyd was throwing them hands back in the day. There's a reason he has broken his hands so much. Cuz he been putting them thangs on em

That’s one of the main parts of being black people hesitate to give you your due diligence for example Floyd whilst being undefeated.
“Greatest of the greats” that is a very unique take.
“A nasty top game” is wild diabolical work 🤦🏻♂️😂😂
I love when ppl talk highly of Floyd cuz it's rare lol
Floyd said he would come straight ahead before the fight. The uppercut shouldn't come as a surprise.
It doesn't matter how polish you are as a boxer A Punch is a punch. If somebody has perfected an uppercut or across or somebody has a job that they just throw beautifully he could be the biggest amateur in the world and catch a professional with that job or that cross that uppercut if it's a clean punch that they are comfortable throwing which means they throw that punch without a thought flawlessly. That is the whole point of martial arts is to master your emotions to become so comfortable with the Motions that you do it without thought. This is been tested several times by guys who claimed to be Billy badass and they run across the real bad ass in the pool hall somewhere and catch uppercut so quick and Powerful they never even seen it. The perfect punch is a perfect punch it doesn't matter who throws it.
Thank you Schulz for actually watching all Floyd’s fights

so true when you're second guessing yourself especially with your jab, it's over
Pacquiao rocked Floyd into the ropes in the 4th round. Shane rocked him 2 times in the 2nd round. Corley rocked him, Zab made his glove touch the canvas, and Maidana hit him pretty solid at the end of one of the early rounds. Floyd won all those fights convincingly. He arguably lost/drew in his first fight with Jose Luis Castillo in their first fight.

Anyone who boxes or understands the sweet science knows Floyd is the greatest of all time, an uncanny level of skill
these people think conor was fighting mayweather hahaha.
Mayweather was 40+ years old, retired, didnt do any training except some light stuff to make sure he could go the distance, had been on the decline at the end of his career anyway, and just toyed with conor the whole fight to make it a bit of a spectacle for the crowd.
and conor outweighed him by 2+ weight divisions on the night.
it was humiliation for Conor, the guy floyd just boxed in japan, the japanise little kid in the exhibition match, was better at boxing than conor

Watch film,if you can’t see the beauty in his work then this I have no business speaking to you. Floyd moved up from 130-154,how many boxers do that? And stay undefeated? He fought the best and outclassed they. If you’re talking about “cherrypicking” he only did that with manny. I’ll give you that, but the rest he smoked his competition.

That makes sense coming from a martial Arts background Rogen.lmao. Someone else said that. Spot on
Floyd approach the Conner fight as if it was an exhibition and not a real fight. He knew that Conner had no chance at out boxing or beating him so the only way to give the fans their money’s worth, he carried him
Every boxer gets hit and that's why I got annoyed when people said Conor wouldn't land a shot. Even someone without any boxing experience could eventually land on a pro boxer. By saying Conor wont land you're making Floyd look bad when Conor does because you create a certain expectation.
I don't think they meant he wont land. I think they were saying he wouldn't hurt Floyd. You also gotta remember floyd wasn't fighting like floyd. He was coming forward which he never does. You disgusting casual.
If Floyd had boxed Conor he wouldn't have landed.. Floyd didn't respect Conor's ability so he came straight forward flat footed
4:41 pause
Floyd didn’t do his normal stance he did a high guard
Another advantage to Floyd's style is the lack of power allows a lot of guys to convince themselves they're the one to beat him instead of avoiding him like a prime Tyson or Wilder.
So he doesn't have trouble finding fights which allowed him to keep cashing checks and racking up wins.
titli flies wow.
