Such beautiful highway in CR!!!! The roads are awesome and safe…! Also the panorama, the views, are super cool…! All of CR is just so cool, one doesn’t want to leave the country…!!! Enjoy the beauty and relaxed atmosphere of pura vida…!!
Most of Costa Rica has old roads where you get stuck behind large trucks often but that stretch heading to Liberia is relativity new and modern. Just wait until you drive in the mountains, it’s beautiful and Its nerve wracking but it’s also and unforgettable experience.
I enjoyed your car ride across Costa Rica. Looking forward to your thorough investigation and adventure through Costa Rica. I heard a lot of good things about Costa Rica.
I love your energy and enthusiasm. We are currently in Playas del Coco and had the same reaction you did, as you drove down the main strip. Can't wait to see the rest of your Costa Rican adventures!
@@EricandSarah It's a real laid back vibe here, lots of friendly locals and expats, many restaurants and grocery stores. But, I really love the surrounding smaller beaches like Playa Penca, Playa Pez Vela and Playa Ocotal which are quieter and have incredibly clear water. It's also SO hot and dry here right now, I am kind of missing the rainforest/highlands of Costa Rica.😄
I'm so happy to see you guys so happy and ful of energy , wellcome and enjoy our little country but big in adventure , great people and lots to see. Bienvenidos a Costa Rica 🇨🇷
I just Subscribed, I cant wait to see your Costa Rica adventures. I'm a bit jealous. Its been 2 years since my last visit. Most of the roads in Costa Rica aren't as nice as the one you took today. You'll come across a few that might freak you out. But adventure awaits! If you want a nice beach town visit Samara. Great night life with toes in the sand. Drive 10 minutes farther to Playa Carrillo and watch the sunset. I've seen many beaches in the world and this is one of the top 10. One other must see (stay) is Arenal . So much to do and see. Visit the local Soda's (family restaurants). I cant wait for your next one. As a fellow Canadian, go ahead and Give'r!
Lol! Loved how happy she was when talking about the gas station bathroom, that was clean and she felt comfortable. And btw yes, CR is very expensive for locals and tourist. Hope u get to enjoy and see the beauty of this country and feel welcomed by the kindness of the people. Pura vida!
Hi guys! Welcome to Costa Rica! I was living in Ecuador and watched all of your videos, now I live in Costa Rica. You are going to love it here! By the way, sleepy, sun drenched tiny beach towns do exist, but you won't find them where thousands of expats flock. By the end of your trip, I'll like to know what your interpretation of the pura vida lifestyle will be. And one very friendly reminder, remember to take your refillable water bottles with you and help us reduce plastic use. Pura vida you guys!
Where did y’all get your rental from and was it crazy expensive? We’re arriving in Costa on Monday for 3 months and would love tips. We have a place on reserve, but want to keep an option open. Your ride is a beauty
Hey sorry just saw this! We have a full video about our rental experience coming out next week but feel free to message us on fb/IG and we’d be happy to answer your questions this week! 😊
We actually made a full informational video about our rental car experience and who we went with here! th-cam.com/video/6GKl53aTbYk/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=TheBomsAway. Let us know if you still have questions after watching it😀
Such a nice (german^^) car you got there! We got a 4x4, which was nice, but the AC was barely working! Totally agree with the feeling of freedom while traveling more independently! Looking forward to great Costa Rica content! We loved the country!
It was a beauty!! We couldn't believe the upgrade we got when we arrived. And yeah it'll be hard to go back to not having a car for traveling after experiencing such independence!

It’s definitely an adventure driving here! But the roads have honestly been better than we expected (although VERY windy at times!!)
Your money review was so funny. It was cool looking, especially the shark bill. Thanks for taking us on a fun trip, and hello from Florida! 👍❤️

the 50k note bill was discontinued sadly, but it was the most beautiful of them all, it featured a butterfly.

Oh my god this is sooooo cool 😎 Let’s put a little more emphasis on obnoxious!
We weren’t obnoxious enough for you? Hahaha
Hahaha everyone goes that slow in Costa Rica 😅 it's the puda vida...
Hahaha Canadians like to drive FAST 😂
¡Hola! Enseña a los "conductores" costarricenses a dejar de ocupar el segundo carril yendo a 40 km/h 😂
