Lifelong agnostic atheist here. One of my dearest and most coveted friendships is with an LDS I met in graduate school. He has never let our differences in belief, nor my not adhering to a Mormon lifestyle, effect our 20 year friendship. He is one of the most honest, decent, trustworthy, loyal and purely good people I have ever know. I have always been impressed with the LDS people and I would rather live amongst the LDS than any other group of faith. My relationship with my LDS brother has been a great blessing and he serves as a foundational example of what a good person and an excellent friend is.
This was beautiful! I am a convert to the church, actually just got baptized last Friday! There is so much misconception about the church when all we want to do is teach the true gospel and love each other just as our Savior did. I invite everyone to at least have ONE meeting with the Missionaries and learn more. They are always happy to answer any questions, trust me.
I am interested in joining the church. Because I am interested in religion. But I am a little worried, because someone told me that it is impossible to get married after the age of 30. I was waiting until I finished med school and completed my internship and residency. Before I started looking for a relationship.
Hi @tony-zw1ej, thanks for your comment. We're so happy to hear you've been learning more about the Church and the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe marriage is very important in Heavenly Father's plan, and can also bring us great happiness and joy, but there is no requirement to marry by a certain age. If you haven't already, reach out to the missionaries from the Church- they can help you learn more about the Church's teachings on marriage! Thank you for sharing this film. It gave me the more desire to go on serve a full-time mission when I'm already 19 years old since I'm only 17 at the moment. But the strong desire just keeps me wants to do for what the Lord wants me to be. I want to be a good and faithful sister missionary someday. Watching this film makes me very emotional ngl. Proud to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.❤
Sisters and elders start earlier than I did 60 years ago. I’ve used what I experienced all of those years ago. Prayers answered. Who to merry. Vehicles to buy, just about everything important.
Thanks for putting these movies on. I really needed this tonight. I and two of my brothers served. My wife is a Geneology missionary for these last seven years. We love to serve. Our temple is to far away. 😂We serve there when we can, ❤ hoping to have a closer one soon!
Loved this movie ... thank you ... just reinforces my love for our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost and love one for another irrespective of race, religion, culture, hope, looking for similarity's that join us as children of God ... Thank you for this ❤️

I am Mormon, and by no means does the ridiculous postured political correctness of this movie have anything to do with myself or with my religion. This trash is like a love letter to political correctness, with some big money charity and a mans fond concern for some children after World War 2 thrown in to make it palatable. It is a pathetic description of the religion of the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Bible, and Pearl of Great Price that Joseph Smith revealed. Frankly, if this WAS my religion it wouldn't BE the Church of Jesus Christ, because the true and living God is not the man to kowtow to political correctness and swing hard with the times and tides of social fashionability.
The movie does not compromise on any of the core beliefs of the church. The movie does not go into D&C and other scripture as they don't want to overwhelm the audience and the movie would have to be so long. Line upon line. This movie is just meant to plant seeds and let anti-Mormons know that we're just regular people.

@@lando1296 the term anti-Mormon is a smoke screen. People like Mormons but have issues with the theology.
