As much as I appreciate this guitarist not wanting to imitate anyone and be his own guy it really bugs me that he never thinks about his tone. It’s so rough that it’s almost unlistenable for me. Listening to others helps you grow as an artist and figure out how to sound better. Guess he missed the boat on this aspect. As far as the surfing goes I frickin love this guys style.
