    Have you tried a quilter's mini iron or quilter's appliqué iron? The mini iron has steam. Love your tutorial!! Love from Canada ❤

    I really enjoy your videos even though I don’t make hats.
    You and Mr Hat are great dancers. Your outfit is perfect.

    I love that you blocked right onto the banana. A matching banana bag would be fun. Can’t have too many fruit accessories!

      OMG I love this idea! Never too many fruit accessories! 🍌
      I may have incorporated strawberries and grapes into my upcoming spring 2024 collection - I'll be videoing the process of making this entire lot of new hats 🍓🍇

    Your banana hat will suit well in Royal Ascot. This week is Royal Ascot.

    a curved sewing needle would seem to be of good help when wiring, and sewing shapes closed.

    I think this may be one of my favorites of your hat designs! I love quirky accessories & life is too short to wear a boring hat!

    A very small needle nose craft plier would be very useful for things like getting that needle out of the hat. If you have any beading craft shops or departments in your area I’m sure you could find it there.

    May i suggest a hand held garment steamer. It releases steam but without the dangerous hot metal surface. They are easily available and not expensive

    Really enjoy your videos. May I ask if you use stiffener with the sinamay materials when blocking?

    Hi Ilona may i ask i wanna make a cloche hat block but don't know if its crown shape is round or oval, could you help? Thank you for your videos!

    • @ByIlonaMillinery
      @ByIlonaMillinery  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! Thank you for your question! Always oval. Every fitted hat should have an oval crown. Round crowns are only suitable for perching hats such as pillboxes.
