Hello pondtail. Sorry for the lateness of this question but I'm about to finish season3 Roc and still haven't unlocked that gear. Do you know if there is any requirements to unlock it or when does it unlock Ps: greetings from 226
On the purple chests of the shop you can receive 1 to 3 materials, is not that strange to obtain more than one. I always buy like 20 at a time and obtain 23 purple materials. So its better to buy the purple ones.

Question - is there a video yet where you compare the dragon armor to the immortal/tyrant archer/footmen gear? Wondering which you would find more worth while. S2 in my state just ended, have 1 gold set of each and 2 cav sets at the moment. Trying to get a better idea of which direction I want to go as we move forward. Thanks!
Hi Cody, I think the devs are possibly designing the future SX heroes so that they will probably work better in mixed combos, that's my opinion on it. Also all the elite super spenders in the game are using the DM gear with mixed legions rather than Immortal/Tyrant gear. This seems to be the meta going forward.
@@LordOfPondtail thanks a lot for the reply sir 😁 I really wish they would put in a mechanism where you could exchange/upgrade a certain amount of dragonite to super dragonite daily, to help the FTP and light-spenders.
It's not something I've personally done, but I can ask one of my fellow R4's who has. But unfortunately it'll be a while for this, as I have quite a few requests for topics already and Eden is getting really hectic for us. :-/
@@LordOfPondtail i completely understand👍🏾 I'm part of a small alliance that used to have 50 members although only 5 of us are active one of the members booted all our inactive members so now I'm working to get our numbers back up🧐there's another small alliance (only 2 members) that might be open to a merge however I'm to slow to figure it out in wondering if only our leader can do it🤔 and i also thought it might make a good topic for you to cover😅
@@N2mesnob if there are only 2 of them and you have better alliance tech just ask them to quit their alliance and join yours. No need to really merge in this situation.
If you have your research maxed out, you can break your armor back into components then if you have enough of each component you could upgrade them to gold and make new gold armor.
You can disassemble gear at any time as long as they are not equipped to a legion. Just click Blacksmith-Depot-Equipment, select the item you want to break up, it will give you option to disassemble. When you do this you receive back the 4 materials used to craft it. It won't give you some dragonite back unless you have completed last couple section of Accessories Production research. @@reginaldvaughn2923 My advice would be to focus on one set of gear at a time. It's better to have one full set of gold on one, than say 2 pieces for all 3. That being said, the first two pieces of each gear don't require any rare materials so if you are generating a lot of material chests from the Clash Of Province rewards each day (9th reward give 20 material chests for each troop type) plus maybe spending some diamonds on the purple epic chests, you should be able to build up materials quite quickly. Hope this correct answer to your question :)
Pondtail you have been such a huge help with this game. I cannot believe how hard the learning curve is for this game. But I need your professional help. I am working on Tyrant Armor but then I realize that maybe Dragon Armor is actually better than Tyrant Armor anyway. What do you think? It is very hard to compare the benefits and know which is better. Thanks!!!
A big part of Tyrant and Immortal gear is the buffs a full set gives during rallies. A full set of Dragon Armor will buff all the time, and being able to mix troop type opens up many top combinations. There is an SX6 Archer hero coming in March that will really improve mixed combos as well, so personally I'd go for the dragon gear, that's what I'm doing...Plus if you look all the top spenders in the game have gone for this option, it's definitely the meta gear.

Hi Aris, my understanding is that dragon master gear is not available until S4 :-)

Can you do a video on merging and how to merge alliances, what does it mean and what to expect

Also pay attention that you don't HAVE to break your gear to upgrade it, you can make 3 more orange gears and then combine them 😌
