Thank you for the interview. I recently purchased the Logos digital version and wanted to take advantage of hearing and seeing the authors beforehand. A remarkable achievement for these men, and we are blessed to share in the fruits of their labor.

Just ordered this book. Review Ben Witherington's Biblical theology. Masterpiece. Ps. Adam Harwood's Christian theology gonna be "next Grudem"....that's my guess. Blessings from Finland !

Must add, because got this book today. As it rightly says p.8. of the order: biblical, historical and finally systematic. Same idea as Adam Harwood's great Christian theology. Perfect pair !

I loved this interview, and I need to get that book.
Respectfully, I have to disagree with K&G about Ethics. I think there's good reason that it's in the Systematic Theology department and, honestly, it kind of reinforces what he's saying about the lack of communication between Bib Theo and Sys Theo, but it goes both ways, I think. There's a tendency on the Bib Theo part to say, "We're doing the actual Bible work, systematicians are kind of just cribbing our notes." That's not what's going on, we're doing exegesis as well, but a different sort. The conversation needs to go both ways. Bib Theologians can and must learn from systematicians as well.
Maybe I'll write a book on that ;) (he says, having threatened to do that for years...)

It's why I like the conversation with it. There's no "war between" the two with bad blood and both sides can make good and interesting points for their position. Which I think adds to the point the authors make about the need for partnership.
