Germans had only 24 casualties compared to the british 700. and the Germans made thier own new Dock During the Raid anticipating a worse defeat the victory wasn't decisive. but it was a dark day for britain as far as casualties go British losses 227 killed 356 wounded 1 destroyer sunk German losses 8 killed 16 wounded the Germans lost no navy craft nor aircraft. then again half the combined arms elements weren't even around that area in 1918 the Wiemar Republic owns it's founding to the Sailors who didn't want to pull a British KamiKaze, the Mutiny in Keil was the starting date of the German civil war British strength; 1,700 1 destroyer given the lack of casualties there's a change they had way less so fought much better. either that or it shows a disparity between German and British marines at Least they got gud as the Germans told them to in WW2 after this battle

Fort Vaux's map has the same problem. the Germans encircled it too (that's why the French couldn't enforce it from the allied lines) good idea for a new battlefeild game; Expand server player count and allow encirclement battles. then they'll know how it feels to truly defend. Tannenberg is a good example of application of the concept given it does it with the same player count as BF1
