      Thanks for sharing that the dies work for the mats! I don't know why I didn't think to try that!!

    For this technique you can also use the dies that are a size up from your patterned paper pieces

      You are so welcome! This way you could also stamp your own design and cut it up with the stitched rectangle dies.

    Since you backed the smaller rectangles with the same color as the card stock, couldn't you just have placed them inside using the cardstock as the backing? Or was it just because you wanted them elevated a little? Just wondering. Thanks, Jessica. Nice technique.

      Great question! Because of the way the patterned paper is cut, the pieces are nested together in a way that there is no space in between them for the solid card stock to show through. If you figure out an easier way though please let me know!

    Thanks for the great tutorial! I love this technique, but I’ve always been too intimidated by it to actually try it. You may have just given me enough courage to try it! 😊

      You could try this same technique cutting your paper with a paper cutter or using different die shapes!

    You don't need a machine do these cards..right??

    • @inkitupwithjessica
      @inkitupwithjessica  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You don't need a machine, but doing this technique with dies does make it easier, especially easier to line up the design on your patterned paper.
