Hey Bud, Love your Vids. Fellow Montreal boy here(Chateauguay), was looking at getting something similar. would you recommend the 4-Tec (4 stroke) motor over running two 2 strokes? I heard the 4 strokes are way more reliable.
I love this video...I can't stop laughing at how much fun you guys are having...its great!!! I'm amazed at how much abuse these Seadoo's can take. When those Rotax engines let go however, what a mess!!!!!! Thanks for taking us along for the ride, felt like I was right there with you guys!!!! My Back still aches LOL!!!!! : )
you are so right about those Rotax, thank for watching it was a great ride. i have done the engine brand new and have not been able to get them going 100% now i have do the some work on one engine and i will get that thing to the dealer, i need the engine 100% working i can't wait to see how high i will jump next time. the goal is to use life jacket and helmet next summer. just wait i will be back !!!!
I have the same boat, mine has been malfunctioning, it seems to get stuck at 5000 rpms like 15 mph, any ideas, sometimes it will open up, but most of the time 5000 rpms
men i have also all kind of problem. the trick is when the engine decide to go, just never slow down and go jump every thing. it may cost you money when you are done but it is worth it :)
+boutdoog Hi there, didnt see your post for 2 years. But now iam looking for summer action again in the winter :D still love te summer!! I cant wait for riding also! but you got much nicer waters over there!! Greetz from holland!
Been there done that A+ Boutdoog
Merci encore!
youll know when u jump a big wake in those old speedsters. youll only see blue skies for about 3 seconds, and come back down really hard. and make sure your passenger is leaning back also or theyll nose dive to the oposing ice chest/cooler seat. dont clinch your teeth while doing either. lol. 97 speedster?
+boutdoog lol. awesome. i know we (me and wife) did have some killer times on that boat. there was always 2 things guaranteed when we hit the water in the 97 speedster, u were gonna get drunk and laid. i shouldnt have sold it but got tired of rebuilding both carbs once a year.
boutdoog same year I have yellow and green seat just spent 1500 redoing engines and rebuilding both jet pumps 2 new impellers new carbon fiber rings and lots other I took it in on trade but still got a kick ass boat and needed rebuild anyway just sucks 1500 bucks before my first use :/ but I'm fresh now :)
Men, you are so right. We were actually thinking about it recently. We were kind of to confident about the boat but when talking about it we assume it was time to go a lot harder. the boat never worked fine and was always having hard time picking up speed. changed every thing on the boat and after having the rotary face worked on a broke the brass gear on the crank. it's time to get it to the dealer and get it 100% of it's power. then i will put the life jacket and we just let those rotax push us out of the water. can't wait but for now i have to finish some project and will be back on water.... Thanks for watching :)
It's the St-Laurent River It goes around Montreal island and it's a nice place to ride the boat. We are lucky to have those cargo boat on the river they are making nice wave to play with. the boat will be ready soon engine problem and we are having great weather here this summer. Bummer i have to hurry up :)
Boat is in the garage all that time..... 2 stroke for ever. Hope to be back on water soon.. New truck 6.0 diesel I will make some boat ramp bonus at the end😂😂😂
The greatest boat ever made period.
My wife and I just bought a 2002 sportster. Runs great and so far have had a blast with it.
Obviously a man of taste and distinction.
Thanks but the two of them cost money to keep them happy and running good :) lol
boutdoog :-)
boutdoog spend the money on the boat only!!!
Great video. I need to know the trick you do with the gear when you flip right and left!
