@Garden Love Homestead yes, I saw your video on it a few years ago at your old house and I went searching for my own. I found a guy that sells them off Facebook and have had it since. Absolutely love having fresh bay for soups and beans!
Hi, I actually do have a Thai lime tree It's not looking good right now. 😕 this winter was harsh on my trees. But I have full confidence it will come back to live. And I have thai dry leaves too. I use them with my rice or soup 🍲. I've never cooked currie. I would love to learn. Thank you for sharing ❤️ what other herbs do you have?
@@GardenloveHomestead thanks to you I just bought 10 comfrey plants from the Perma Pastures site so I am excited to see how they go. Also seeing how well your Oregano is doing (I am in 9b too) I am going to plant some of those in the coming weeks. My fav herbs are probably rosemary and thyme - great to have near the kitchen to throw into Italian food. 🙏
Where did you pick up your comfrey? I'm thinking of finally putting some in. Seems like it should be a good companion for my two mango trees I'm about to put into the ground. Speaking of which, have you tried growing a mango?
I was having a hard time finding some. I order some from etsy. HOWEVER I saw that @permapasuresfarm is selling some. I think I want to order some from them. They have a pretty big channel. If you order some let me know what you think. I want to grow tones more, for my Chickens 🐔
@@GardenloveHomestead That's funny.. I was thinking about them too.. They're huge on comfrey. I was just hoping to find something local. Have you been able to divide yours to multiply it?
Bay ❤
Thank you, yes it's bay leaf glad to see that a few people recognize it. Are you growing some too?

❤❤❤ I would like to see a tour of your container plants and trees.
I posted one a few days ago. Go checking out
I live in houston Texas and my lowquat died and it came back this is the first year i have seen flowers
Really! That is awesome! You guys get really cold night, right? Mine dies and I'll just have to buy a new one. This one is not coming back 😔
You have such a beautiful garden!
Thank you so much 🤗🤗
My loquots are growing good but they didn't produce flowers this year i guess because they are not getting enough sun.
That's could be, or it's just getting established, and it's working on its roots 🤗
Bay leaf
Yes, I love bay leaf 🍃 are you growing some? I'll do more videos on this plant
Thank you 😊
The Daisy like flower looks like it may be a feverfew plant. They are in the Daisy family and spread pretty fast.
Thank you. I'm going to look into it. That's what happens when you don't buy heirloom plants and seeds
Marigold will grow once the ground warms up. I spread my seeds everywhere and they will germinate once it gets warmer. Good luck
The seeds germinate and sprouted a different flower because the original marigolds weren't heirloom flowers.
Where do you buy plants and seeds online?
I'm in California, so recently I've been ordering from a local seed store. It's called San Diego seeds. Where are you located?
Would love to see a tour of the orchard
Absolutely, I'll do a tour of the orchard soon.
Bay leave
🤗 yay, yes it was Bay leaves! A really awesome tree to have. Do you have one?
Great video Diane! If you like the bay leaves have you ever planted or used Thai lime leaves in curries? Delish!
