When I hear this, I instantly think about the promo for MMPR: The Movie. On the VHS edition of "The Pagemaster" which starred Macaulay Culkin, this song plays at the start of the preview. I remember running out of the kitchen when I heard it. Damn we 90's kids had it good. I'm still devastated to this day over the loss of Jason David Frank. He will always and forever be the heart & soul of the franchise. I love him so much. He was so beautiful and God gave him a gift. Starting his journey at the ripe age of 4, he became in my eyes one of the best martial artists in the world.
I never realised it but I think one of the reasons that Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is so endearing to me compared to some of the other seasons, is even though it is kind of cheesy, the music was actually really good. I definitely think there are seasons that are better written, that have better story arcs, and better acting, but that original music from mmpr, just awesome.
Lets face it to thouse guitar rifts id kill more puddys than Hitler Stalin and Mao could people. My fondness memory of this song was from MMPR Season 2 when Tommy, Billy, and Kimberly fought the Z Putties with Rocky, Adam and Aisha for the first time together in the park. This song went well with all of them showing off their moves. Great song.
+@@XxOrphenxX It was indeed released with the original cast, but as I said, my fondness memory was of that particular episode featuring Adam, Rocky and Aisha. That episode stuck with me because it was the start of new Rangers joining soon and coming together.

And the movie, Legend of the White Dragon starts at September 4th, this year, and also in honor of the greatest memory and spirit of Jason David Frank.
As much as I dig the guitar riffs from this song and the original Power Rangers...yeah, the part about "your secret Ultrazord protection" makes basically no sense. It's only secret until you use it for the first time. Then everyone knows. Especially since the big robot zords only ever get pulled out once the other side makes their monster GROOOWWWWWWWW!!. Just once it would have been hilarious if they pulled them out first and just stomped the putties into the ground with them rather than fighting them in hand to hand combat.
From the VHS copy of The Pagemaster, and it was a behind the scene of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie The excitement is building, the challenge is building, and the stage is set for they're greatest adventure yet. In the next few months, see it for the first time some new surprises that awaits your favorite superheros, as they action in the the big screen in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie
Let's be real... zedd's army would have been done for if the general public had a Ranger in Civilian form pretending to struggle and win by punching the "Z" on the chest then spread the word of attacking the weak point givin' the public a fighting chance to defend themselves.
Here's one thing I noticed about the Z Putties, yes they got a clear weak spot, but the Rangers fought them more in their ranger forms, where as Rita's putties, they beat them quite often without morphing. So obvious weak spot aside, the Z Putties were strong enough to force rangers to morph. Now grant it, I'm going off memory here, and its been a LONG time since I saw MMPR from start to finish, so I may not remember everything correctly, but I'm just offering my 2 cents.
its funny i looked up power rangers songs, a year ago came across fanward their video page and got a comment answered in video by the OG Black Ranger. im smitten.

Tick tock tick tock
You're running out of time
No time to stop
You say I'm close behind
When they come knock
They better know its time
I've got the lock
To keep them all in line
Well you can't run and you can't hide
When the evils got you in sight
Co-co-co-combat
Co-co-co-Combat
Now you see them
The plan is very clear
Find their weak spot
And never show your fear
They think they're tough
But you've got the secret weapon
They don't know about
The Ultrazord protection
And now they run and now they hide
Cause you're on the winning side
Co-co-co-combat
Yeah
Co-co-co-combat
Tick tock tick tock
Tick tock tick tock
They try to run, they try to hide
As we fight the winning fight
