I wish you had more subscribers so you'd have more positive impetus to keep this kind of great content coming.. Anyway, as ever, thank you for another fine video featuring Ducati race bikes
Wow! This is pretty Cool. I only started watching motorcycle racing in 2020, and I've been following the technical side of things ever since... it's nice to get to see the retro stuff🔥
in 2006 Troy Bayliss has said his 999F was putting out 205hp at the highest state of tune and they could not squeeze anymore power out of it to compete with the japanese inline 4s. the 999 had reached its limit.
I was at the tail of the dragon usa when the 999 hit the streets. Seen one there with some mods and frankly, I loved it. But this is obviously an amazing Ducati. Thank you
I am a newish rider and i am eyeing the 999 as a first big bike and i have never touched a Ducati, but just the way it sounds and looks in videos i have left with the expression that it is a rough bike to ride, just by looking at videos and i am actually right, my sense is on point with the 999.. But the surprising thing is that it has a 2 stroke powerband.. I tought it would have a lot of low end with that rumble of a sound. Cool machine over all, pure italian race horse, the only thing that scares me is spending tons of time looking for parts and in the repair shop instead of riding.
Bike porn of the highest level, love your passion for everything ducati . If you ever get an ncr milona or pierobon x60r would love to see an in depth view of those, the 1100 ds engine being my absolute favourite ! Keep up the great work 👍

It was also extremely high revving, according to Troy it behaved more like a GP racer, and the engine had to be changed every 450 km...insane stuff
@@karlmoody4891 yeah was a badass bike!! the 999F.

Try and find my video on the road going 999R its not what you might be thinking and is a very progressive easy bike to ride for a twin
@@lussoveloce So 3 months forward i got the 900ss 1999 model. Extremely satisfied with it and absolute head turner on the streets.
I have those very same rearsets courtesy of Corsa garage

Was ridden by Leon Haslam in 2004 in WSBK and he had 2 wild cards in BSB in 04. Won a BSB race at Brands
I have tears in my eyes.
Its incredible for a 749/999 fan like me, whats the ballpark value of that? Will you use it?
Hi, it's actually for sale but you are into 6 figures. it can be used for things like Goodwood or 1000 bikes
Biggelar has a video of one these engines opened up. The service intervals are hilarious
Awesome channel 😎
Thanks
It would be superb if you guys could start them as part of Lusso Veloce reviews!
I do sometimes but these earlier bikes don't have electric start making it a bit more complex
@@lussoveloce sure thing, but you guys have such beautiful and exclusive stuff! If you don't, then who will!? 🙏
I have seen one of thoughs racing crankshafts and the counter balance replaced with heavy metal.
to me the 999RS was Ducati Corse best looking racebike even better looking than the 996/998RS
wow! thanks
Gorgeous
Is the wsbk spec has those motogp components ?
All factory RS 999 share some components with GP bikes
Is Koji Koda your dog's name?
Could listen for hours! 😂
F10 next please 🙏
OMG! It is so unfair that I'm not you. Now who can I complain to???
Buy a 999s its special enough
brillant bike ugly paintjob
Please stop smaking your lips. 😬
don't waste your money ...tbh x
Not so sure about the lockwiring on the oil filler cap.
I agree with you! I do not like the road bike either. Thats why I changed as much as I could possibly on my 999 trackbike to 999RS bits
What's with the annoying swallowing and tuting noise dude 😤
