THE BEAUX ARTS TRIO
Menahem Pressler, piano
Daniel Guilet, violin
Bernard Greenhouse, cello
Vinyl LP, released in 1968
No greater Piano Trio has arisen in the last 80 years at least: Pressler is the guiding spirit, and the total perfection of playing is beyond description. Thank God I have been able to hear them live many times!
Wundervoll lebendig und farbig!
immense inspiration and beauty..what a trio,and what a mendelssohn:)
Que I Mov, gran interpretacio'n.Las Furias y La Melancolia!!!!!!.-
Wonderful trio, the best in later time I think. They have all and every each instrument come forward. I think that Beaux Arts Trio simply is the best.. Very fine precision , control and balance Wonderful music.
Bellissimo.
Grazie e complimenti
A very pleasant performance. Nice job, Beaux Arts.
here you can actually really see a change in his style... one of brahms favorites by the way !
Dedicated to his esteemed friend Louis Spohr (1784-1859).

this is gods Music.......Mendelssohn was not an Atheist.........no great Music was ever composed by an Atheist.......Facts and love from vienna Austria.......where it all began..Mozart,.Beethoven,.schuber,.Brahms,. bruckner, strauss father+son,.Schönberg,.,.etc..................
I thought Brahms was at least agnostic though
proof it
I mean I can't really prove it any more than wikipedia can, though apparently Dvorak used to express his disbelief of the same matter
There was a letter written by Dvorak about Brahms "Such a man, such a fine soul - and he believes in nothing! He believes in nothing!"
Peter Helbich: beneath how many videos did you already copy-paste this non-sense?
It is the second identical post I see but I am sure you "commited" more..
Well anyway, I already responded to the content, the ludicrous ideas, but for next time please do care for the form a bit, a minima: Schubert and not "schuber"...
