You are a hero my friend. I've searched high & low for Gregory Alan Isakov tutorials & finally found your channel! You do a great job. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
I knew I had to try this song as soon as I listened to it for the first time.. and I just came across your tutorial and you explained it really well... Really eager to learn this, thank you in advance! :D
Thanks a lot for the feedback... I've got "San Luis" recorded already, so that one's gonna be uploaded soon. But I'll take Master and a Hound on the list. Like that song as well :)
Hey man, I seriously tried and I kinda know how to play it, but the picking in that song is killing me haha. Sorry, but I fear that my guitar skills are not sufficient to make one for that song!
@@hennareytutorials Thank you so much for trying it! I´m sure you´ll be able to play it one day :) In the meantime I´ll keep learning the other tutorials you upload weekly.
Great job!! Here's a few variations I like to use, for those who might be interested: for the intro, I like to add an extra (open) note on the G string between the notes on the D and A strings. For the verse, I like to do a hammer-on on the high e after the bass note at the start of the riff (0h2). And for the bridge I prefer A - G to Asus2 - Bm11, but those are all minor things :)
Amazing! Ive been wanting to know how to play this song for years since it is my favorite song by GAI. No one seemed to ever get it right. You did tho. Thank you.
omg you re so underrated :(( i wish more people knew about you, you are a really great teacher, and you have exceptional taste in music btw, i wish you all the best :))
Hey Bianca, thank you so much for your heartwarming feedback! This means a lot to me and keeps me going! You can spread the word on my channel if you feel that I don't get enough attention, I'd be really happy! Hope you're doing fine!
Hey, I have some issues with the F#sus2(b6) chord, my pinky reaches the d string but it sounds a little bit blocked by the other fingers. Any tips or is it just practice?
Hey mate! It's probably just the finger flexibility which comes with practice. You can still try to turn your wrist a bit more away from the guitar to get more onto the tip of your finger, but you'll probably lose some strength doing that.
I’ve waited so long for someone to make this, thank you!

These are very nice alternatives to fill in there from time to time. Thanks mate!

Beautiful! Thank you for your effort in this tutorial.
You nailed it bro nice job
this is the same set up as Second Chances. And probably many others. Greg really likes this sounding
Thank you, you made it seem very easy.
Hitting that D string cleanly in the F#sus2b6 is a bit challenging.
Fantastic video.tganjs for making it
I think G might be a pull off instead of hammer on? Sounds good either way great lesson.
Beautiful video. What guitar is that ?
Can U do "All there is" too, PLEASE 🙏🏼
FINALLLLLLLY!!!!!!!
Can you also make a guitar lesson of words?
Finally!! Thanks!!
