Love watching your video and seeing all your beautiful 🤩 stitching love your finishes and Santa is so adorable. Have a wonderful week and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Hi Lorrie! You’ve been busy and everything looks amazing!! The colors on the cardinal piece look stunning. I actually love the blue paper with the wee santa, but I’m sure the rosy red with the antiquing wax would look awesome too! Can’t wait to see what you decide ❤️
Thanks for your opinion on the paper. I’m going to take it to heart, and will be finishing the piece with the blue paper. It matches the piece best. Have a wonderful week. Looking forward to watching your most recent video. ❤️
A couple of suggestions. On the Wee Santa, I love the blue paper. What if you bring in the red with cording or another trim around the Santa. An idea for your small, bowl, find an alphabet you like and stitch your initial.
The paper does match the piece well. I didn’t give it much consideration after thinking of the flowers, but now I will. Thanks for your opinion. I appreciate it and hope to share a finish of it soon. ❤️
Good morning my friend. Fun to watch you while eating breakfast!! I just love looking at that stitchy wall behind you.❤❤. Suggestion for the pretty bird finish. About the date, stitch the date one over one. It will fill your space better even if you have to rearrange the placement. The main focus is the bird so the date is needing to be small. Just my opinion. Whatever you decide it will be pretty😊
Hey girl! The Heartware bowl thingy happens to me all the time! Your finishing is beautiful. If you have an antique store nearby I bet you could find a bowl that will work just as well. If you want to resell the small bowl, I will buy it from you. Btw, thanks for showing the ID Badge/phone holder. I'm glad you got one, I especially liked the fabric I used to make that one. Let's keep in touch! -Julie
You are very talented. The badge holder is useful, and the fabric is beautiful. I plan to use the bowl. The HIH website shows small designs for the small grey bowl. They are no longer firing the red ones. Will I see you in October?
I actually think that the blue fabric with the snowflakes looks good as a background for the wee Santa. And I also got the small red bowl, I did not know there were different sizes for the red bowl…… but thankfully we have that other bowl to switch out for the seasons … And speaking truthfully I think the red round sampler finishing looks great….. the underside is going to hidden from view. 😊
Girl, You know I tore that piece apart and reassembled it and added Rick rack. It looks so much better. I looked on HIHs website, and that is the correct bowl. 😳. It was supposed to be stitched on 32ct, overhang the edges snd gave a much puffier top. The template posted for the finish is for the large bowl.
Love that "Pledge of Affection" stitch! I've had that in my cart, but think I need to order it! How frustrating that you had the wrong-sized bowl. Ugh.
All is well. I re-finished that top tonight, and have already placed it on top of the other bowl. Now I have two that I can interchange. It looks great!
I finished that piece, didn’t like it, pulled it back apart, refinished it, and am in love with it! It’s good to come back to something with fresh eyes. ❤️
Thanks for the suggestion. With the provided number charting, there isn’t enough room to stitch the numbers from tail to vine. I plan to stitch it over on in that spot, which should work fine. Have a great week!
I really love your Lizzie Kate pattern you plan to start. Do you happen to know if this was part of a series? Would like to take a look at the other ones as well if possible ☺️
Could you check with the shop you bought the small bowl at and see if you could exchange it for the bigger one? Either way you will find a neat way to use the small one if not.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I bought the bowl over a year ago and doubt that I can return it. No worries, I am sure that I can find a perfect piece to stitch up for a lid to that bowl. ❤️
I'm so glad you shared your red bowl snafoo! I bought the same bowl, but didn't check the size( or know there where different sizes). If mine is small too, wondering if I could stitch the sampler on a smaller count? What count did you use? Really helpful! Love seeing all of your progress!
Hi Patricia. I took a look at the Heart In Hand website. She does finish the Red Round Sampler atop of the red bowl, and finishes the piece so that it rounds over the edges. The template that she provides is for finishing a piece for the larger bowl, and not the small. There is a little over an inch difference in the width of the two bowls.
@@mischievousstitches Hi! Thanks for responding! Do you know what count you stitched your piece on? I'm wondering if I stitch it on a smaller count (if my eyes can take the challenge)& try to cut my own template to fit my bowl if it might fit better? I do have the red bowl...just not sure what size, but I think it is the small one.
Great job on your bird. I don't like my date to appear very big so I have a pattern of number and alphabets that are super small. I always use those. I just like my date and initials to be very small and inconspicuous . You might try that. But I don't think it looks bad the way it is at all.
My heart breaks for your disappointment over the Heart in Hand bowl finish. Those bowls were not inexpensive and I hope you find something else even prettier to use it for. ❤🧵🪡✂️
The gifted Valentine Bowl is going to look so smart with both of your exquisite pieces to date….what a great remembrance….
I think so too!
Love watching your video and seeing all your beautiful 🤩 stitching love your finishes and Santa is so adorable. Have a wonderful week and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Thank you! You too!
We all make mistakes. You keep plugging away at it till you're happy with your finish.
That's the way to go!
That's was the plan! I got it refinished with the Rick-rack trim, and love it! The new finish is the video thumbnail. ❤️

Love your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!
Thank you Karin. ❤️
Lori sorry the frog arrived! It's frustrating for sure but will be worth it. Your pieces are beautiful! Thanks for sharing! Have a great week.
Not a one of us stitchers enjoy entertaining the frog when he visits. I will be happy when he packs his bags and leaves. 🤣

I agree with you 100%, and had come to the same conclusion. I will share my full finish soon. ❤️
Btw, my vote is for the blue paper background as it draws out the blue in Santa😊. JBW has some really cute small charts for your bowl topper.❤

Your comment makes me fell better knowing that I am not the only one. ❤️

Thanks for sharing....life is just crazy and unknown, i do stuff and come back and try to figure out what I did...please take care and be safe

Hi ! Can you move the 24 over towards the bird , so it's the same distance away as the 20 is from it.? Well, it looks easy from here !LOL 😊Good Luck.

It’s part of the Lizzie Kate Snippet series, of which there are many. It is leaflet # 595. The release year is not printed on the leaflet.

Date looks great. Leave nit
Thank You Sandy!
Hate the bowl was too small. Will they let you return it for a larger one?
I purchased the bowl over a year and a half ago. I doubt that the shop will accept a return. No worries, I will find a use for it. ❤️

That’s a great idea. It is the size that bothers me. It doesn’t fit the space and draws my attention.
I think the blue looks better than the red.
Yes, a dark blue looks really nice.
